groups would gather and go, naturally after downing pint after pint, and there were fresh faces that would begin their adventure, not knowing what was out there and rather than being deterred but eager for the unknown. his journey didn't begin in ul'dah, but he had been called to the money-hungry city many times.
a city that tasted money but also blood.
the sudden welcome broke him out of his reverie, though romeo would shake his head next and smile. it's been a decent amount of time since he'd or someone else in the room had been drugged, yet the few times left a paranoia that wasn't easy to shake off. "i actually meant to catch up with momodi but i'm guessing she's off to take care of an errand at the moment."
assuming she wouldn't take long, romeo took a seat. "have you been here before? i'm fairly certain i've seen you before," he said, attempting to conjure any memory if the two had spoken before, as he makes it a habit these days to known everyone he can.
“Aye, Momodi ‘appens t’ be runnin’ ‘er work. She ‘as a tendency t’ put me ‘n charge o’ th’ rabble in th’ meantime.”
The viera woman grins, and gives a flourishing bow to the newcomer, giving the air of confidence as she does so.
“Th’ name’s Vanra, an’ ye prob’ly ‘ave seen me b’fore. I’m one o’ th’ bartenders ‘ere. Ah serve drinks, sometimes food, but always a good time. Now, ye look weary. ‘ave a seat milove an’ let ol’ Vanni take care o’ ye, first drink’s on th’ house.”
