Well there was a familiar face that Erenville hadn’t expected to see again so soon, or perhaps even at all. After everything the Warrior of Light and the Scions had to to save... everyone, from the understanding he had, the Gleaner had expected she would vanish somewhere in a far distant land. It was what always seemed to happen with the hero types.
He hadn’t expected to see her back in Labyrinthos so soon.
“Planning on creeping around as a frog again?” Erenville asked with a crooked grin as he headed toward her. It seemed like she had just gotten here, still standing in the Acrinthos area immediately south of Old Sharlyan, and it wouldn’t have surprised him if she had yet to notice him. “You might want to spend a little more time studying them if you want to blend in better.”
@holymagick wanted something arrange marriage-y with Aymeric
The request had come as a surprise - likely to the both of them. Aymeric had been aware that his marriage status, or lack of one, had been lately discussed with great intent amongst the other nobles of Ishgard, and he had known that they had been looking into how it could benefit them. That they would go, that they would stoop to this level had not been anticipated, however. How could it be? No one of any sane mind could have foreseen such an outlandish request.
The man, a young elezen who clearly had just been delivering the request from his patronage house, looked uncomfortable in the stunned silence that greeted him. After a moment he cleared his throat. “As-- a-as stated, House D-”
“I heard. We... heard.” Aymeric cut him off, not wanting to hear the insane statement again. The young man swallowed hard and Aymeric sighed. “Please, return to your master and tell them that we will... think about it before providing our response.
It wasn’t until the young man was gone that Aymeric looked over at Dove, head shaking slightly. “My apologies. When he had said there was a request of the House of Lords for myself and the Warrior of Light, I had not expected it to be of... marriage.”

& For The Damaged Sentence Starters
For a split-second, his lips curled into a sneer. And then it was gone, replaced with the same stony countenance that had always been second-nature to him when dealing with most others.
"Champion of Eorzea, now Saviour of the Star." No, Menenius didn't know her, but he knew enough about her and her legendary feats. Before his fall in Zadnor, she had been enough of a threat to merit him keeping an eye on her, if not for the Empire itself then for Noah's sake; and if there was one thing the Garlean Elezen excelled at -- it was gathering intelligence.
That had been, after all, his primary occupation, besides his position as Tribunus.
Her latest accomplishment, however? Who didn't know about it, at this point? Her and the famed Scions of the Seventh Dawn, risking life and limb to save the planet from its imminent demise.
But he was not here to fight, and he made as much clear with the fact that he didn't reach for the lance at his back. "While your reputation precedes you, I would never be so bold," he quipped lightly, and there was once again a moment's flicker of emotion on his face: this time annoyance.

It was the battlefield that Vanra felt the most alive.
While she was no Warrior of Light, Vanra felt her job was no less important: Protect the weak and innocent, defend the defenseless. Even so, she absolutely couldn’t help the desire to show off.. just a little.
It just so happened that she’d spotted another figure - another Viera, a healer, rushing to the aid of the wounded. Even through the smoke of the Empire’s onslaught, ever-determined, teetering on the line between brave and reckless.
She could get behind that. The two figures clad in Empire uniform on the other hand, were not so inclined, as they pulled their weapons and rushed toward the healer-
It was now that Vanra had leapt over a pile of magitek rubble, shouting to earn their attention. In short, the fight was.. well, short. One man suffered broken ribs and went down quickly. The other earned an uppercut hard enough to knock his helmet several yalms away. Finally, Vanra addressed the other woman through a thick accent and a serious tone as she held the barely-conscious man’s arm up-
“Ye migh’ wan’te hurry it up there, Princess. Cannae promise ah can hold th’m off f’rever.”
Following her words, a crack as her fist met the side of the man’s neck, while she used his arm for leverage.
@holymagick asked : " that is a .. pom-pom grass, is it not ? " while she had never seen one in person prior to this, it was something that she had read about, at least. there was always a quiet curiosity with a locale's flora that dove took interest in. to better understand potions, and tonics, or antidotes even if she didn't oft make them. " where i'm from, there are none to be seen. it looks much like a dandelion, wouldn't you agree ? "
‘ oh - ho, you have a good eye. color me impressed ! ’ while his tone still bleeds with a faint hint of amusement, there is no bite to his words, his lips curling upward in genuine delight. long, practiced fingers delicately wrap around the bright green of the flower’s stem, carefully lifting it out of its vase and into the air for closer examination.
‘ these happen to be a personal favorite of mine. the concentration of their runic power is rather low so i usually only use them for lower - level enchantments, but the stems can be stripped and boiled for healing, and the pappus and seeds can be ground and used to enhance weapons. small stuff mostly, arrowheads and the like. ’ slowly the outstretched hand reaches out toward the woman beside him, careful to only offer her the very base of the stem, the soft white poffs held pointedly away from her face.
‘ here, take a look if you’d like. they do appear rather similar to a dandelion, don’t they ? only i would advise not to blow on these ones. their poison may not be strong enough to do any serious damage to anything our size, but they can still leave you with a pretty nasty itch if you’re not careful. ’ he pauses for a moment, studying her from the corner of his eye as his eyes narrow with mischief.
‘ although ... i suppose if you can’t resist the temptation, i wouldn’t stop you. that could be quite amusing to see, i imagine. ’
“ i’m not mad. ” - @holymagick
Tsuyu snuck out of Lord Hien’s residence but a few minutes ago, crossing the Aetheryte Plaza towards the Ten Thousand Stalls to watch the people gathered there. Opting to stay close to the wall, she never crossed the street to actually join them -- which evidently made discovering her that much easier. Dove is standing but five yalms behind her, arms crossed below her chest and watching her. The realization of having been caught has heat rush to the woman’s cheeks, and instantly, without letting the Viera get a word in first, she tries to explain herself.
“I’m -- I was just, I heard about the food stalls and that they wanted to celebrate something, so I just wanted to see, I didn’t -- I didn’t mean to...” She’s keeps stammering, hands coming together in front of her body as she can’t help but start fidgeting. Well aware is she that she is NOT supposed to leave the Kienkan, much less without anyone else accompying her. Yet, not desiring to burden Gosetsu any further than she already had ( especially now that he was supposed to rest ) she ran off on her own. And in doing so, she instead burdened the Warrior of Light herself.
Finally, Tsuyu interrupts herself and casts her eyes downward, swallowing the lump in her throat. “I’m sorry...” She’s expecting a scolding from Dove, reiterating that she isn’t supposed to go out alone albeit obscuring the reason why... Thus, the affirmation she receives instead leaves her stunned. The Doman breathes out a quiet “oh”, shoulders falling slightly as part of the tension she held in her body leaves her. It doesn’t change much of the situation at hand -- considering she still ISN’T supposed to be out here at all in the first place -- but the relief leaves her nigh weak-kneed. “I, um... I’ll go back...” As much as she’d love to mingle with the people of the Doman Enclave and try all the food the merchants have to offer, she doesn’t wish to risk being reprimendad after all.
“You look like you haven’t slept in days.”
SICKNESS STARTERS
"This is just my face. I slept a normal amount this week." Kogami, by his own admittance, is a horrible liar, but he has too much pride to admit that she was right, and that the 'normal amount' was four hours total in the past week. He can't help it. Adulthood, he learned, was all about work and being responsible for your own actions, and he had very little control over both. He was a busy man, and he chose to not rest until he got all of his work done ( he idly wonders if he's funded the local cafe's new renovations with how much coffee he chose to get that week ). He had a bucket list of clients and tasks to tend to, fieldwork that required his abilities. He knows her healers' eyes can see right through him, but he decides not to budge on the matter, and tries to do what he thinks he does best -- "And you look like you're in good health, ma'am." ... and deflects. "Slept plenty, I hope? It gets quiet enough around here to fall under quick."
