Spectral blades are entirely dependent on the material of their hilts; the blade is pure energy that is more often than not drawn from the user’s choice in magic, but they can be specialized. Séaghdha has several hilts available: the original is made of Lazurite, the one for show is made Silverite, and her personal favorite is made of Veil Quartz. Eventually she was able to have one made of Dragon Bone.
The hilts are polished smooth, roughly the same length as her forearm. The grip is fitted to match her hand and is lighter than it appears but heavy enough to weigh down on her belt. As she is a storm mage the blade itself seems to hum with electricity and has hints of a purple hue. Any mage could use the blade but it works best with her magic than it would for anyone else.
