Being born as a twin is where his problems had stemmed from in the first place, but there was nothing that could be done. At a young age, yamane and his younger twin were taken away from their parents to be part of an experiment to see how they reacted under certain situations. They spent a majority of the experiment seperated and had their minds shaped in different ways. When they were finally reunited as young adults, they were complete opposites; the elder twin being quiet, reserved..and somewhat murderous in nature. He just stared blankly at the other, not even asking himself why there was a copy of him standing in front of him. @dashdasxorphans
28. During a rainstorm, our muses take shelter in an interesting place.

Planets with proper oxygen were a rarity. There was no evidence this one had been terraformed. In fact, Yama would have bet against it. “This plants don’t look like anything relative to Earth plant life,” he said, prodding at a stem-like structure to watch it curl away and hide. “I doubt they adapted from our plants being placed here. Our plants don’t adapt easily. Also these are...strange.”
Colorful was a better word for it. They ranged from pinks to blues, with little green to be found. They were also very reactive to touch, retreating underground at the slightest of stimuli.
But Skye tended to get a blank stare if he talked about plants for too long, so he stuck to jotting down notes with regards to more complex observations. He doubted she’d wanted to come with him, but as the newest member of the Arcadia’s crew, she probably got ordered to be his partner on the scavenging mission. No one wanted to go with him when there were plants around.
He bounced on his toes as he glanced around. “We should collect samples. Lots of them. But be careful not to breathe anything in or touch anything or let anything get in your eyes.” He ticked each one off on his fingers as he went. “Oh, and especially-”
The communicator bug in his ear trilled a beep, their signal to get back. “So soon?” he sighed. “I thought we’d get more time. Guess we’ll have to get samples next time. Wouldn’t want for you to miss out on the fun.” He cracked a grin as he dropped his tablet into his bag.
The sky was darkening overhead, so he guessed the planet’s night was fast approaching. Well, it was best not to stay out on uncharted planets in the dark. “Don’t even know if the plants are carnivorous,” he muttered.
