Like Father, Like Son // Phobetor + Yugyeom

That aura..the power..he could feel it so close. There hadn’t been a presence that strong to call to him in centuries. Phobetor’s mind ticked as he drifted himself into the other’s shrouded mind. It was never too hard to enter, but whatever was in their dreams as he entered would only twist and bend from his presence.

Phobetor slipped into the dreams of the weary demigod. The dream was quite calm; silent and very empty..something unusual for him to see. He walked for a bit; black footprints of smoke trailing behind him as his eyes wandered around. Dreams that weren’t active weren’t uncommon for the silent god, but how could how such a strong aura drag him here and turn up barren?

Suddenly, a sharp chill hit his spine. He could feel the presence of the person of whom owned and controlled this plane of dreaming. The younger male didn’t seem phased at all as the shadows slowly creeping and clinging to Phobetor’s skin. As he got closer to the boy, he stopped and let his hand to float out towards the demigod. His face..his presence..It couldn’t be..

“You..it’s been so long..”

Look at me - Yugyeom

I’m so happy to be getting all these kinds of requests and feedback since I’m new. It makes me feel good about myself and my writing. For anon, we have a jealous Yugyeom because you’ve been spending too much time with Jaebum and Mark.

It was a quiet day at the dorm. The 5 out of the 7 boys were doing their own thing. The two eldest members went out to go do something, being very vague when they left and no one questioned it because they were the oldest. The youngest member was sitting on the couch with his phone in hand. He was passing time waiting for you to come over. He invited you over since it was the boys’ day off and you agreed to come over, but a little later since you made plans for late morning, early afternoon. You texted Yugyeom when you were on your way over, sitting in the back of the car as you were being driven there.

Yugyeom looked up from his phone when he heard the code being punched in from outside the door along with laughter. The door opened and walked in the two eldest members with you behind them, holding a few bags. Yuygyeom was surprised and confused. Jaebum’s arm was draped over your shoulders as you walked in. 

“Thanks for today, Mark and Bummie oppa,” you said with a smile as you looked at them.

“It’s no problem,” Mark smiled, ruffling your hair. "We have fun today.”

You smiled and gave them both a hug before they went over to their rooms. You walked into the dorm more, slipping off your shoes in the process and set your bags down on the chair. You looked over to see Yugyeom on his phone, not noticing that he was trying not to sulk. You smiled at him and walked over to sit next to him. Yugyeom looked up from his phone again and smiled at you before wrapping his arm around you.

“Hey baby.” you smiled at him.

“Hey there, love.” He leaned in and kissed your forehead. “What were you doing with the guys? I thought you had something today.”

“I did, but then I bumped into the guys after and we hung out for a little bit and we went shopping.” 

“Ohh, I see.” He said as he nodded.

“Is everything okay?”

“Yeah,” Yugyeom smiled and nodded again. “I’m just happy to see you now and get to spend the rest of the day with you.”

You smiled up at him while moving closer to him. You leaned up and kissed his lips which he happily returned, moving his phone away to pull you into his lap. You giggled softly and pulled away from him, resting your head against his shoulder, moving your hand to his.

“So what’s the plan for tonight?” 

“I was thinking a movie night. We can order some food and have a relaxing night in.”

“That sounds perfect, Yuggie. I love quiet nights with you.” You smiled and nodded. “I’m gonna get something to drink. Do you want anything?”

Yugyeom shook his head and you got up to go to the kitchen. You opened the fridge and looked through it before grabbing a water bottle. Before you could turn back to Yugyeom, you were picked up and thrown over someone’s shoulder. Someone who was awfully familiar.

“Oppa, let me down!” you yelped, squirming in Mark’s arms. 

“Why should I?” he laughed, dodging your kicks.

“Because I wanna go back to my boyfriend.”

“Bummie oppa, help!” you looked up and saw Jaebum coming out of his room.

Jaebum walked over and started laughing. You pouted know that it wasn’t helping. Mark started to walk out of the kitchen with you still in his arms. Yugyeom heard the commotion and stood up to walk over to see if you were okay, but he wasn’t happy to see what he saw.

“What’s going on here?” Yugyeom asked, looking at Jaebum and Mark. 

Mark slowly set you down on the floor. “Nothing, we were just playing around.”

“We were all planning to go out for dinner,” Jaebum explained. “We were gonna ask if you and Y/N wanted to go if you didn’t have anything planned.”

You fixed your hair and looked at all three boys. You attention turned to Yugyeom and saw that he wasn’t his happy self. He had a solemn face and his jaw was slightly clenched to keep himself from doing something he might regret.

You walked over to Yugyeom and he instantly wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer to him than usual. You smiled softly and looked up at him. He kissed your cheek quickly before you turned to the guys. 

“Uhm,” you spoke up. “We already have something planned, but thank you for the offer, oppa.” 

You felt Yugyeom tensed up and his arms tightened around your waist. Mark and Jaebum must’ve caught on with the tension and nodded, understanding before heading back to their rooms to let the other boys know along with getting ready to leave. You pulled away from Yugyeom’s arms and turned around, placing your hands on your hips.

“What was that?” you asked.

“What?” Yugyeom asked, not knowing what you were talking about.

“You got all upset when I was hanging out with Bummie and Mark oppa and-”

Yugyeom cut you off. “Can you not call them that?”

“What?” You blinked at him.

“Call them oppa. Can you not do that?” he mumbled softly.

So this is what it was about. This was why he was hugging you closer than usual and giving you more kisses than he would when you’re at the dorm. He was jealous, but didn’t want to admit it. You thought it was cute, but the way he acted was uncalled for.

“Baby, why are you jealous?”

“I’m not jealous.” he avoided eye contact with you.

“Yugyeom.”

He just sighed and looked at you. This made you soften up. Yugyeom wasn’t one to get jealous often because he didn’t have anything to worry about. You took his hand and pulled him over to the living room. You sat down the couch and pulled him next to you. He moved closer to you and rests his head against your shoulder.

“I know I have no reason to be jealous,” Yugyeom started. “But I feel like because we’ve been so busy, I feel like I don’t see you anymore and you’re hanging out with the hyungs a lot when I want to spend time with you.” You reached up and stroked his hair gently. “And I want you to call me oppa instead of them and look at me only. I don’t want to feel like a kid anymore.”

You chuckled softly and kissed the top of his head as he rubbed your waist gently. “I call them oppa because they’re older than me and they’re like my big brothers. It’s respectful.”

“I’m older than you too!” 

“By a month.” You looked down at him and saw him pouting, chuckling softly. “Okay, okay. I can start calling you oppa.”

Yugyeom smiled and leaned up to kiss your lips softly. You smiled against his lips and returned the kiss, snaking your arms around his neck. You both stayed like that for a few moments, his hands slipping under your shirt. You pulled back and giggled.

“You don’t have to be jealous anymore. I’m not going anywhere. I only look at you the way I do and I’m yours only. I love you.”

“I love you who?”

“I love you, oppa.”

Yugyeom smiled brightly. “I love you too.”

“Now how about that movie date?”

Doubtful - Yugyeom

Sobs. First angst scenario requested by anon. When you doubt Yugyeom’s feelings when he doesn’t seem into the relationship anymore. Hope you enjoy!

The sun shined brightly through the window. You stirred in bed when the light hit your eyes. You rolled over to greet the sleeping figure good morning, but the spot next to yours was empty. You opened your eyes slowly and only saw the outline of his head on the pillow. Did he leave already? You took in a deep breath and let it out slowly before slowly getting up in bed. You looked around and saw that his stuff was gone. You sighed and got out of bed to get ready for the day, falling into the same routine.

You headed off into the kitchen to make some breakfast, but as you made your way down, you heard a noise. If he already left, there was no one else in the apartment so could it be? You smiled softly instantly at the thought of being able to see him before he left for his schedules. You walked into the kitchen and instantly spotted his pinkish red hair. As you were about to walk over to hug him as a morning surprise, he looked up and spotted you.

“Did I wake you?” he asked when he saw you surprisingly. Not even a good morning. 

You just shook your head. “No, I just rolled over and you weren’t in bed so I got up. Good morning to you too.”

“Ah, sorry babe. Good morning, but I gotta get going or I’m gonna be late.”

“Do you really have to go?” You looked down at your fingers as you fiddled with them. 

“Yeah, I’m sorry. I’ll be back home late so don’t wait up, okay?”

You nodded again and heard his footsteps walk towards you. You didn’t even bother to lift your head to see if he caught on, but he didn’t. You felt his lips against your forehead before hearing the lock clicking on the door as he left.

“I love you too..” you mumbled to yourself.

You sighed. This is what always happened. You either didn’t see him in the morning or you saw him just enough to watch him leave. You fell into this routine about a month and a half ago and you don’t even know what happened. You didn’t go out much since you worked from home and didn’t have much friends living in Korea. You bit the inside of your cheek, looking around the apartment, and decided to skip breakfast since you weren’t feeling hungry anymore. 

You went to the bathroom and chose to take a shower instead. You stripped out of your pajamas and stepped into running hot water. You stood there and let the water run down your skin as you get lost in your own thoughts. Did you do something wrong? Were you just not appealing to him anymore? There were so many pretty girls out there, of course he’d get tired of you or even annoyed. Too clingy? Did you forget something? You couldn’t have. You usually remember everything. 

Even though you were in the shower, you felt a salty taste on your lips. You didn’t even notice that you were crying a little bit because you weren’t one to cry. You’ve been with Yugyeom for almost half a year and this is was a new things for you. Sooner or later, you finally got out of the shower. Getting dressed, you didn’t know what to do next. Your apartment was clean and you finished all your work. You guessed it was a day where you can relax, maybe getting your mind off of Yugyeom while he’s out for his schedules. 

You made your way over to the couch in the living room to watch some TV, but when you turned it on, you saw Got7 on a music show. Instead of changing the channel, you turned off the tv. This was not helping. You decided to read instead, grabbing your book from the coffee table. Not knowing what to do kinda made you feel sleepy for no reason. 

A few hours later, you found yourself still on the couch with the book laying across your chest. Slowly sitting up, you rubbed your eyes and looked around. The place had become dark. The sun had set and the only thing you heard was the occasional gust of wind blowing through the trees. You checked the time on the clock. 9:45pm. Were you really asleep for that long? Only a few more hours until Yugyeom came home or so that’s what you thought. 

Your head turned to the door as he slowly opened and closed. You saw his colored hair shine through the dark before the lights flickered on. He was home early. You felt your heart flipped when you saw him but it dropped when he just walked by to go to the bathroom. You heard the shower turn on and internally groaned. Really? Maybe everyone right. Maybe you guys were young for love, but it didn’t change the fact about how you felt about him. You saw Yugyeom next, sitting in front of you on the couch as you hugged your knees to your chest.

“Welcome home,” you said quietly but loud enough for him to hear.

“Thanks, babe. How was your day?” He asked while turning on the tv, not giving you a glance.

“It was okay. I didn’t do much. Yours?”

“Busy.”

Then it became silent. It was almost like an awkward silence where no one said anything, but there was something in the air. You didn’t like this feeling with him so you decided to speak up.

“Yugyeom, can we talk?” you asked shyly. 

“Yeah. What about?” He looked over at you for a quick second before turning his attention back to the tv.

“Us.” This brought his attention back to yours. It was clear he didn’t know how to react, but he knew that he didn’t think he was about to have this conversation. “Do you still want to be with me?”

“Of course. Why would you-”

“I feel like you haven’t been paying attention to me anymore. We don’t even spend time as a couple anymore. And during the short times and moments we have together, you won’t even look at me or touch me. I haven’t heard you say ‘I love you’ in a long time. Did I do something wrong? Did I do something to make you not want to be around me anymore?” This is when the tears started falling down your cheeks and you stood up. “I barely know what your touch feels like anymore. I don’t even know your scent anymore from how distant you’ve been with me. You wake up and leave for schedules, telling me not wait up, but I do it anyway because I love you and I want to see you, making you meals when I can. You come back and you just go to sleep. I don’t receive any calls or texts from you anymore even when I’m the first one to text or call. I may be overreacting but this has gone on for too long. If you don’t want to be with me anymore, just say so and you can leave.”

With that you stormed off into your room, slamming the door behind you out of frustration, locking it. You reached up and wiped away your tears with the back of your hand as you choked back a sob. You went over to the bed and laid down, pulling the covers over yourself. Yugyeom sat on the couch speechless, but felt terrible that you sacrificed so much for him yet he was the one acting this way. Knowing what he needed to do, he got up from his seat and walked over to the bedroom door. He was about to knock on it but he heard your soft sobs. He reached around the door frame to look for the extra key. When he had his hand on it, he slowly unlocked your door. 

He saw you laying still under the covers, hearing your sniffle every now and then. It broke his heart to see you like this considering you were not the type to cry unless it was something serious. Him being the cause of your tears tugged on his heart even more. Yugyeom reached out to place a hand on your shoulder. A part of you wanted to move away but you missed his touch so much. You not moving away gave Yugyeom the okay to keep going. 

“Y/N..” he called out softly. “I’m not going to leave you. I love you so much that I would be a fool to leave someone who’s done so much for me on my worst and best days.” You stayed still and listened. “I’m sorry that I’ve been distant with you lately and I’m not gonna use work as an excuse because that’s something that you got used to when we started dating and I couldn’t ask for anything more.” He slowly moved the covers from you to look at your tear stained face. He reached up and wiped away your tears with the pad of his thumb. “Things have been stressful and I haven’t been communicating with you well and I’m sorry. Please forgive me? I’ll do anything to make it up to you.”

You spoke softly and quietly. “I just miss you..”

Yugyeom slowly pulled you up and pulled you into his lap, letting you bury your face into his chest. “I miss you too..I’m so sorry. I texted Jaebum earlier for a day off so I can relax. We can spend the day together. I’ll make you breakfast in bed.”

You couldn’t help but smile into his chest, taking in the fact that he would do something like this for you. “Promise?”

He chuckled softly and nodded. “Promise.” He reached up and tilted your head slightly towards him. “I love you,” he said softly before capturing your lips in a gentle kiss. 

Pulling back, you snuggled into his chest as he held you close him, letting yourself familiarize everything you missed about him. You closed your eyes slowly, sleep starting to take over. Yugyeom picked you up carefully and laid you down on top of him, pulling the covers over you both. “I love you too,” you mumbled before drifting off to dreamland in his arms.
