There is no missing his smirk. The machinist enjoys Yuna's coy, almost innocent sense of humor. At the mention of Rikku's name, Gippal cannot help but roll his one singular revealed eye for dramatic effect. He peers back at her intently then.

"What did she say hmmm?...Did she use words like charming? or maybe fiendishly good looking..."

Gippal's ego is matched only by his bravado. He takes the bait without hesitation. He is curious to hear if Cid's girl really does talk about him after all this time.

They were quite the couple once, after all.

He is more curious though at the moment to hear what High Summoner Yuna thought about things. It wasn't very often he got to spend this much time with a celebrity.

     Ever since that first time they went out to the clearing to braid each other’s hairs, it’d become their unofficial meeting place. And because that first experience had been so lovely, they often repeated it, with Alice teaching Yuna different types of braids, and how she could do them on her own hair.

She’d gone with something more romantic this time, which was quite a bit more complex and time consuming than the last few styles, but it was all worth it in the end. “Oh, hang on! We need flowers!” Because that had also become a part of their little ritual.

Returning with a selection of colorful blooms, Alice took her time in carefully placing them all along the multiple braids that made up the hairdo. It brought her back to her apprentice days, when she’d first made friends with the girls who would later on become part of her inner coven.

As the nostalgic feelings settled in her heart, she couldn’t help smiling at how pretty Yuna looked and leaning in to press a kiss laced with all the protections and well wishes those little witches in her memories had developed to her cheek.

Oh it’s been potentially years! since he’s had a hug, a well and true proper cuddle. His luck with the many ladies in his life has never been that good, with the exception of his sister, to most others he was merely a scraggly weird boy. Nobody wanted to be friends with a scraggly, weird boy.But still! He’s going to wrap his arms around this lovely lady with all the gratefulness his little heart can muster. 

“It’s not often I get cuddles on the first meeting, but I can’t say I’m against it...” Definitely not against it, please hug him more, he likes hugs.

         Era algo normal para nós dois, passarmos o tempo juntos - mas naquela época estávamos passando mais tempo que o normal juntos, não tínhamos muita escolha afinal, a Guerra entre os Bruxos e os humanos estava praticamente estourando e o único lugar mais seguro para se esconder era no mundo mágico. E lá estávamos nós dois, naquele lugar sagrado para nós e mais ninguém - onde ninguém poderia nos fazer mal e ele sempre me dizia que me protegeria de qualquer coisa. Estava realmente conturbado lá fora, era difícil sair até mesmo de dentro de casa, fora quando ouvira a ideia que havia dado a um bom tempo atrás. -”Kazuki.” a voz ressoou baixinha enquanto abria um singelo sorriso sobre os lábios. -“Lembra daquela vez que você havia falado sobre fotos de família? Por quê não tiramos algumas juntas? Eu ainda tenho minha câmera.” Não tínhamos muitas fotos juntas, afinal - nossa infância fora completamente diferente uma da outra, fomos separados um do outro afinal, pelo menos que um pouco no meio daquela guerra queria fazer algumas boas memórias.
