okay, this post makes me feel INFINITELY better after everything i went through with joan. at least i know i'm not the only one who had to deal with their behaviour. i had no idea it went this deep.
i hope everyone who's experienced the same bullshit from joan as i have is able to recover, even if you didn't know them for long getting abruptly blocked and cut off is so scary. (hell, i had a panic attack that lasted 4 days the first time they blocked me LOL.)
here's a message i sent to my sister in 2023 regarding my first experience with joan.
tl;dr : i freaked the actual fuck out.
my more recent experience with joan:
and then about an hour later, they block me AGAIN because i didn't immediately refollow.
and then another 4 months later, they contact me unprompted
they then proceeded to immediately block me again before i could even read the post.
that was when i FINALLY blocked them back (i hadn't blocked them at all prior to this.)
i'm just discovering all of this and it's kind of shocking to me but a bit of a relief that i'm not the only one who's been through this.
EDITING THIS: ALSO A BIG THING. they deleted basically everything in our dms over discord & i no longer have access to their username so i can't go back to check. they would ask me very odd questions despite knowing my age. i'd go more into detail, but i don't want to stir anything up without proper visual evidence.
i hope they're doing okay, wherever they are, but i don't think they should get away with this bullshit.
