hi guys i like the among us show
lighting test HELLO DIVAA
just rewatched "Scooby Doo and the Alien Invaders" (2000) with my roommate and its a shame that crystal and amber never came back
the hex girls, who debuted the year prior, became fan favorite characters and established parts of the franchise lore, but since the franchise pivoted to "no supernatural elements" in literally the NEXT MOVIE, crystal and amber never really got the chance to come back. and thats a shame
legitimately sooo excited for this event to drop :D
Nikos doesn't like to be called pretty I guess 😔
No idea if it would make any sense in your aus but I keep thinking about Mama Aether meeting the “little boyfriend” from the silly death game in the desert
Cliché showing the partner baby pictures moment while Grian wants to implode :>
pfhhhhhhhhh well she doesn't have baby pictures of him, and i don't think she's ever directly spoken to Scar, but its funny to imagine, Grian tries to stop it quickly.
I am so extremely curious to know what the relationship between Emily and Felix is because I refuse to imagine that Emily just sweeps everything he did to her at the circus under the rag but I don't think she will hold it as a grudge forever. How could you describe it?
It's definitely strained!
Emily keeps a solid distance where possible, but since she's back on proper medication she's emotionally a lot more balanced and having Nicky by her side (who's built like a brick house and not afraid to chuck Felix' twig ass into the nearest dumpster) gives her some confidence too.
Felix also is generally a lot less cruel than he was in the circus. Back then he was basically fishing for any crumb of control he could reach in a world where none of them had any - hence the constant blackmailing and threats of physical violence towards her on top of the insulting mockery.
Treating the circus like an inconsequential game where pain isn't real (it still feels like it is tho) unfortunately only made him become more bold about inflicting violence over time too.
But!
They're back in the real world now, free and with their agency restored, so everyone's a lot more at ease. Felix actually having a stable living situation for the first time in ages helps a ton in making him feel more secure and relaxed as well, so he has little left to compensate for anymore other than protecting his fragile ego.
Emily doesn't like Felix, mind you, but she's got no reason to be actively afraid of him anymore at least.
And like... In a weird way Felix needs pushback in an interpersonal dynamic. Christine pushes back on his bs and it's what keeps them balanced and friendly. Nicky also always returns everything he throws at them with equal intensity, and while their squabbles can get intense, it self-regulates itself because there's a limit to how much pain he's willing to receive for dishing out and that bar is set quite low after escaping.
Emily has always been a pushover, and her lack of defiance bothered him hard in the circus - it's part of why he kept pushing her harder and harder, he was trying to get her to actually retaliate, show she's got some kind of backbone hidden in that tangle of ribbons in some way, but she never really did.
I think all it really takes for a full and proper reset of their dynamic post-escape is for her to actually retaliate and just punch him really hard one single time.
He'd wear that resulting bruise like a badge of honor and not bother her the rest of the day. After that? Same dynamic as usual, but he bothers her noticably less and keeps his jabs light and humorous.
She has way more power in this dynamic than she consciously knows and actually exerting it when he goes too far will be crucial in making them go from barely mutual tolerance to an inkling of a friendship. I also believe that they do have far more in common than they consciously acknowledge. Seeing so much of what he hates about himself in her was partly why he latched onto bullying her to begin with after all.
It's worth noting btw that he never asks for forgiveness - talking about feelings is very hard for him and it will never not be - but him letting up on his bullying to the point where Emily now just gets the same amount of mild, joke-y jabs everyone else receives helps a lot in allowing them to treat their escape as a fresh start at least.
