No idea if it would make any sense in your aus but I keep thinking about Mama Aether meeting the “little boyfriend” from the silly death game in the desert

Omg, what if Xelqua and Grian switched eye colors and it was a sign of like Xelqua never leaving Grian/being a part of him. Like imagine one day Grian wakes up and his eyes are purple, and the Saint is looking at him with mischievous brown/black eyes. (Also maybe trauma cause maybe when Grian uses magic he knows his eyes turn purple and it freaks people out)

well this sorta happens, after Grian get possessed by Xelqua in s8, he's left with purple eyes for a bit, along with purple eyes and glow on his wings, and feathers in his hair that he plucks out. But as he recovers, these things go away.

His eyes do glow purple when he uses enchantments or his emotions are wild, but thats just his Watcher side unrelated to Xelqua.

Xelqua having black eyes is a fun idea to think about, maybe some of his Watcher traits disappear after some time ?
