iwaizumi always makes sure you take care of yourself when he’s not around. texting you good morning, asking if you’ve gotten out of bed, telling you that even the littlest of progress is still a step away from the pit you found yourself in the day before—that you matter. hajime never fails to remind you that you’re beautiful, too. he never has to say it either, just the way he stares at you when he thinks you don’t see him and the way oikawa teases him for being “whipped”
hinata is a gentleman. he was raised by his mom and his little sister, he knows what chivalry is and doesn’t see how other men can treat women like shit. he always makes time for you and pulls out your chair, and he makes you giggle every time you see him bolt to your side of the car to open the door before you can even unbuckle yourself.
yuji learns your habits; when you’re feeling sad he knows to give you space for a little while then cuddle you with movies in the background. he knows when you’re mad because you get quiet and try to keep to yourself so you don’t blow up on anyone (he wouldn’t mind if you blew up on him, he knows it’s not healthy to keep those emotions inside you.) itadori knows that you spend 15 minutes snoozing your alarms and how you dot all of your i’s after you write your sentences.
geto helps you when you can’t do things yourself. he—out of everyone in the world—knows how hard taking care of yourself can be if you’re deep into an episode. he shows up. he listens, and he helps you into the shower and makes you a meal while you wash your hair. after, if you’d let him, he would help you shave your legs and makes you giggle when he grazes over the ticklish spots with his hands. you two spend the rest of the night together in your, now clean, sheets talking about everything and nothing at all.
luffy shares everything. everyone on the crew knows how stingy he is with food—but never with you. if you’re still hungry after your meal he will give you his. what about him? don’t worry about that, he can always grab a snack from the pantry later (even if he leaves with a few new bruises from sanji. it’s always worth it for you.) luffy has something that you wanted to see or use? he’s handing it over to you without question. he even shares his hat with you more often than any other crewmate. just don’t tell them that, okay?
ichigo protects you from everything. some people might think he’s over bearing, but he always says that it’s his job as your boyfriend. he’s lost a lot, and he doesn’t want you to be sucked into the soul society’s bullshit; you’re just a normal human girl with her own dreams—he would never forgive himself if he had them ruined. kuro would rather die than let you be kidnapped like orihime, one of his best friends, was.
