Chu Chu

A soft sigh passed Hibiki's lips as he mindlessly stared out of the window. He wasn't looking at anything in particular, he just didn't want to look at him.

Lately he had been feeling so restless around Alcor. He had tried to figure out why, but to no avail. It wasn't like Alcor was irritating or anything. They had been living together for quite a while now, so even if Alcor would have had any annoying habits, Hibiki would have gotten used to them by now.

There was only one reason Hibiki could think of. One reason as to why he was feeling so odd around Alcor. Hibiki couldn't say if it was something he approved of, but there was one thing he did know. He wanted to make sure if this was how he really felt about Alcor.

"...Say, Alcor," Hibiki said, turning his head away from the window. As always, Alcor was just behind him, like a shadow. "Would you mind closing your eyes for a moment? There is something I would like to try."

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Hibiki gazed up at the almost starless sky. With all the light pollution in Tokyo it was no wonder the stars wouldn't come out at night. Only those which shone brightest could be seen by the naked eye. Dubhe, Merak, Phecda, Megrez, Alioth, Mizar and Benetnasch all shone brightly, but their light was still dim in comparison with Polaris.

Hibiki took a deep breath and closed his eyes, thinking back of how he had encounter most powerful beings with those names. There was only name missing, one star which wasn't out that night, but of which Hibiki knew as a fact it was still there. On that aspect the star was no different from the man Hibiki had met with the same name. He was sure that Alcor too was still out there somewhere, even if he wouldn't show himself. Things were fine the way they were now, yet Hibiki couldn't help but wonder if Alcor and he never would meet again.
