Shadow does not know how to fix a computer
Blues powering down whenever he was out of range of the servers? Interesting. To Shadow, this was beginning to sound like a weird riddle. Unbeknownst to Forte, the ninja DWN was feeling just as stumped as those who were usually on the receiving end of his typically and intentionally cryptic answers.
Yes, he had told Forte to 'rest assured' because he was going to 'take care of the matter at once', but truthfully the ninja had no idea what to do. Should he visit the home of Thomas Light to demand the doctor attend to the matter himself? He'd never been programmed to be a very tech-savy sort of robot, so no ideas as to how to remedy the situation himself were springing to mind, but at the same time he couldn't help but think that violence was probably not the answer he was looking for.
Deciding that it'd be much faster if he just approached someone who DID know how to fix such a thing, he vanished into the nearest stretch of inky darkness, reappearing just outside of Flash's lab. Surely, if anyone would be able to help, it would be him; one of Wily's more competent (albeit disrespectful) sons.
Shadow knocked once – twice, quietly waiting before he was met with a response, though it was not the man he'd been expecting to see.
"I require Flash Man's assistance with a matter most pertinent," He announced. "I would do it myself, however I lack the knowledge to be of help currently. I apologize for any inconveniences I may cause." Shadow finished, giving a slight bow to the unimpressed DLN staring back at him.
It was stupid, really. Any rational 'bot would have gotten something as small as an audio stutter fixed years ago, but what had started out as not wanting to bother Dr. Wily so soon after his and his brother's defeat had turned into... well, a paranoia of sorts. Fear that his coding had gotten so messed up that tweaking it would alter his personality. It was irrational and he knew it, and it was time he got this silly little thing fixed.
He'd said nothing to Star about his decision for obvious reasons, and it was with a hint of reluctance that Ivan made his way to Flash's lab. He honestly felt pretty silly, going to the guy for help after he'd gone on about his lowered opinion of him following the Cossack incident, but he supposed if the second gen was willing to help then he'd take the opportunity. With his head held high and his posture about as straight as he could manage, Ivan soon stepped into the lab and announced his presence with a (simulated) clearing of this throat.
Shifting Gears
"Alright, check this out." Crash insisted, clumsily hopping up onto the exam table in his brother's lab, somehow looking both excited and deadly serious. "Hook me up, I promise you're going to be surprised." he added over the whine of his drills spinning, feet dangling.
Wood stumbled through the Moon fortress, largely unfamiliar with the whole idea of the thing. He was still in the process of regaining his bearings after the teleportation. Looking around for his brother, he called out, "Yoohoo, Fla~aash!" His face twisted into a grin at the echoing of his voice and his clunky footsteps.
The only time where being late doesn't drive one insane.
Hidden in the corner of the dimly lit room there shamefully rested untouched gifts wrapped in Christmas themed paper. How many art related gifts did Flashman get for both Christmas and his activation day? Enough. With reckless rips Timeman tore apart the wrapping paper and removed it from it's contents. A pack of charcoal pencils, a rather large sketchpad and triangular eraser. A sigh passed through his lips, he could not afford anything extravagant for his lover. Not for Christmas and now not even for his activation day.
In the end he felt like a failure.
In the end he just wanted to give the gift to Flash and hold him close. Hold the one who changed his life for the better...
And with that intention Time got up and sat on the bed once more. On his back he turned his head to look at his companion beside him, sound asleep, precious even. Flashman's activation day had already passed and Time himself had yet to wish him any happiness, it was already too late. As ironic at it may be he was late. Had this been any other situation his pride would have ignored it, he was never late, but this was a different.
Time leant over closer to Flash. He connected their lips in a soft kiss in hopes it would awaken the other. "Flash... Flash wake up. Flash."
