How do these people who get 100,000+ notes per post even exist?? I got two hundred notes once and I almost cried, alerted all my friends and family then bought Chinese food.
Kyurem Subplot
Not too long after Reshiram arrives in Kalos, Kyurem is released in Lavaridge, Hoenn. It is Not happy with ow hot it is, so it messes with the weather: instead of freezing over the city, it turns it into the next Snowpoint.
May arrives on the scene and barely recognizes the pokemon as Unovian, and calls Touya. He doesn’t pick up the first time (because he’s dealing with Reshiram), but leaves a message and tries to calm the pokemon down until he calls her back.
When Touya does call back and she fills him in on what is happening, Touya is initially torn between needing to finish what he’s started and helping out May. Touko tells them that she can contact her cousin, Mei, to head off to help. After a quick call, Mei is on her way and brings Kyouhei along with her, remembering that he encountered the legendary pokemon before.
On their way to Hoenn, Mei asks him about it. It’s the first time he speaks up about it, and elaborates on what Ghetsis had done to create White Kyurem with the DNA Splicers. He only got to see Kyurem in its original form momentarily, so he doesn’t know much about it in that sense. They try to come up with a plan on what to do, but Kyouhei insists that all they have to do is talk to it. Mei is just not keen on that.
And Mei is right. They meet up with May, and Kyouhei makes an attempt while the girls evacuate the the town, and almost get frozen in ice. Kyurem flees, but sits it leaves an icy path in its wake, it is simple for them to follow.
Before running after it, Mei insists that they need an Actual Plan this time, all the while trying to restore the town back to normal. After talking through it and looking at the pokedex, Kyouhei concludes that Kyurem just needs to be reunited with Reshiram and Zekrom, so they call up Touya to tell him to bring Reshiram to Hoenn. In turn, Touko contacts N to explain the plan.
Kyurem does not end up freezing over a whole town or city after Lavaridge, but it does leave an icy path in its wake. Kyouhei, Mei, and May chase after it, repairing the collateral damage to Fabled Cave. All the while, they keep in touch with Touko, Touya, and N so that they can meet up properly.
When they finally meet up at Fabled Cave, a strange sort of ritual begins happening. No one really knows what’s going on when Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem encounter each other, but once it finally ends, it seems like there is a mutual understanding among the three of them. Kyurem then cooperates with going back home to Unova, escorted by the other members of the Tao trio.
Reshiram Subplot
Hoopa takes Reshiram to Couriway Town: the Kalosian town known for all its majestic waterfalls. It overwhelms Reshiram to the point where it flees in the direction of the Pokemon League. On the way, some Team Rocket members recognize it. They report to Ariana and Archer, who decide to capture it for Giovanni.
Reshiram eventually runs into Drasna, who notices it is n distress. She is able to calm it down, and reassures that she will help it return home. Just then, Ariana and Archer attack Reshiram, so Drasna fights them off long enough for the legendary pokemon to escape. Ticked off, the Rocket executives retreat to regroup and find where it is heading next.
Drasna returns to the Pokemon League and shares with the other members what happened. Siebold contacts Cheren, who happens to be discussing with Touya about helping him find the Genesect army before anything bad can happen to them, considering the reports of Entei appearing in Hoenn reaching other regions. Cheren asks Touya to find Reshiram, but not without getting grilled on his connections to the the Kalos Pokemon League. Eventually, Touya agrees to go while Cheren stays back to deal with the Genesect army.
Meanwhile, N has contacted Touko after he and the ex-Team Plasma members managed to get Zekrom back. The other legendary pokemon was taken not too long after Entei appeared in Hoenn. N witnessed it too, and was determined to find it - turns out, it was found in Vermillion City. N tells Touko that Reshiram must be in danger, and Touko heads off looking for Reshiram, too. Touko asks around once she gets to Kalos, and the locals mention that Drasna has encountered Reshiram and heads to the Pokemon League to see her.
Eventually, Touya and Touko bump into each other and it’s awkward on several levels. For one, they haven’t necessarily talked to each other since Christmas, and even then, things were Tense. If it wasn’t for their friends, it could’ve been worse. Secondly, they were sent by two different people to find Reshiram. Last, but not least, N only contacted Touko. Why only Touko?! Touya frantically texts Cheren about having to work with Touko and all Cheren has to say back is “Don’t sleep with her.” #bestfriendoftheyear
To make things even more Awkward, they get to the Pokemon League and meet with the Elite Four. Touya freaks out, which makes Touko upset that Cheren has been hiding stuff from her, putting their hosts in a weird place. Eventually, they get down to business, with Drasna filling them in on what happened and where she thinks Reshiram has fled. Touko and Touya tell them to leave finding the dragon to them and head off.
At first they discuss how they should do this: Touya thinks they should stick together, but Touko thinks it will be better if they split up. To find Reshiram. Just then, a few Rocket Grunts ambush them and battle them (only to LOSE). After kicking their butts, Touko gets some information about the execs and where they think they are heading next so that they can catch up with them.
Reshiram ends up hiding in Shabboneau Castle in Camphrier Town. Recognizing it as a legendary, the person who looks over the manor allows it to reside there in safety. Eventually, Archer and Ariana receive enough reports to come to the conclusion of its whereabouts.
They begin by breaking into the castle by force, which causes Reshiram to react defensively and set the place on fire. Touko and Touya show up and double battle agains the Rocket execs, but they’re out of sync and arguing. The fire Reshiram started spreads towards the town, but the townspeople have evacuated thanks to Cassius and co. It’s crazy, and there’s a lot of yelling, but Touya and Touko get it together long enough to remember that they need to protect Reshiram and defeat them.
In the midst of the battle, May tried calling Touya from Lavaridge. Once they defeat the Rocket execs and calm down Reshiram, he calls her back and find out about Kyurem. Touko overhears and contacts her cousin, Mei, who drags Kyouhei to help May while they bring Reshiram back to Unova.
Touya and Touko end up having another fight, opening Touko up to have some Real Talk with Touya about what happened between them. Things get uncomfortable, but resolution is found just before Kyouhei calls them up telling them they need Reshiram and Zekrom to quell Kyurem. Touko contacts N to meet them in Hoenn, and they change routes.
