MISC USEFUL INFO
Rin is a character written by Jordan that is Hibiki and Gold’s (who are twins) mother. She met Palmer during spring break about 22 years ago, got knocked up by him, and had the boys. She later married Palmer, got her own reality tv show Queen of Battle Tower, and recently left Palmer. She now has her own daytime talk show and works as Lisia’s manager.
Hoopa plot took place summer 2015, and the RPA plot took place summer 2016.
Serena took Malva’s E4 position after Malva was arrested. She’s a dark type specialist.Â
Flint was married to and divorced Flannery. They have three children.Â

RPA PLOT
REGIONAL PROTECTION ACT: Interregional legislation calling for the protection of cities and the environment from legendary Pokemon.
Less than a year has gone by since last summer, during which regions, cities, and historical landmarks were destroyed during a rampage by legendary Pokemon. While there were only few casualties, the was tremendous, and irreparable in some cases, damage done to the infrastructure of each region.
Legendary Pokemon have proven themselves to be unpredictable and dangerous to the population, both humans and regular Pokemon.
Yes, some are largely benevolent, but some are devious and have only caused repeated destruction. The benefits outweigh the costs.
Additionally, just their presence causes danger for those in the regions. Evil organizations in each region have, over the past decade or so, set their sights on legendaries to control and cause worldly to universal destruction.
The simple fact is, with legendaries roaming around in each region, we have no way of protecting ourselves from them if anything goes wrong. We were fortunate last summer, but each region wouldn’t be able to withstand another blow like that should something go wrong again.
Legendaries would be captured and delivered to certain high level trainers (ie. champions), professors, or organizations for safeguarding. Legendaries would hopefully be spread out to prevent mass theft.
Yes, some legendaries may be ambivalent, but the fact remains that they are not always in control of themselves. Those with less than pure intentions have ways of capturing or controlling them for their own agendas, and Hoopa’s meddling proved that any slight disturbances may cause them to lash out at great expense. It’s not ideal, but precautions are necessary.
This is not unheard of: historically, many legendaries have been sealed or trapped away for the safety of mankind. It is only over the past decade or so that many of those legendaries have been released back into the wild.
Arguably, the RPA would also work in benefit of the legendary Pokemon: most have been hidden, trapped, or sealed away for quite some time. They are all used to a world with less technology and a less pervasive human presence. Simply put, they are not accustomed to the modern world. Their natural environments are long gone, and it would be extremely difficult for them to survive undisturbed on their own. And with all the villains that have attempted to capture and control legendaries once they’re loose, legendary Pokemon would be much safer under trusted protection.

EVIL ORGANIZATIONS
Rocket:Â
Team Rocket has been subject to a change in management a few times since the beginning of PT. Most recently, they were under the management of Madame Boss (Mercede, Giovanni’s mom) after she ousted Giovanni. After she took control, Madame Boss used Rocket to build her own power and affluence. Their mission became to go after valuable Pokemon, including legendaries two years ago during the Hoopa plot, for her own gain. She was arrested that summer for the attempted capture of Diancie, only to be cleared of all charges last April. Immediately, she began lobbying for the RPA in order to seclude legendaries to make them more accessibly for her capture. Eventually, Giovanni resurfaced and tipped Silver and Blue off to her intentions, leaving them to expose her and Rocket. In the meanwhile, Giovanni had Archer working as double agent to help him kill Madame Boss. As it stands, Giovanni is now in control of Team Rocket once more and is working to rebuild their public name. His intentions are unknown.Â
Aqua:
UnknownÂ
Magma:Â
Maxie spent last summer assisting in the assassination of Madame Boss. As it stands, he is working alongside Malva in Hoenn to stir up some trouble this summer.Â
Galactic:
Galactic fell apart after the events of Platinum, in which Akagi was stuck inside the Distortion World for years. Upon his return, he was found in a sort of zombie-like state. He had no desire to pick up his plans and left Galactic in the care of Saturn with specific instructions to use their resources for environmental purposes. Meanwhile, Charon defected, taking control of the grunt hivemind, and began furthering his own agenda, including trying to capture legendaries to reopen the Distortion World. During the Hoopa plot, Charon was captured and killed by Akagi. With Saturn back in control of Galactic, they went back to their old ways and attempted to carry out Akagi’s plans in the hopes of his return to power. During the RPA plot last summer, they managed to reopen the Distortion World, only for Arceus to try to trap them inside. Cynthia managed to save them but ended up trapped inside herself for a duration of the summer. The commanders are now wanted criminals with Saturn having resurfaced to stab Green recently.Â
Plasma:
UnknownÂ
Flare:Â
With Lysandre missing and presumed dead, Malva took over control of Flare. In her grief, she resolved to bring him back to life by capturing and harnessing Hoopa’s multiverse powers. Her actions led directly to the events of the Hoopa plot. After being found out, she was arrested and broke out of jail sometime later. Now a wanted fugitive, she fled to Kanto and worked by Madame Boss’ side only to defect and assist Archer and Maxie in helping Giovanni pull of Madame Boss’ death. As it stands, she’s working with Maxie in Hoenn with the rest of Flare inactive.Â

latias subplot
Hoopa released Latias into Eterna City, where it hides until finding refuge in Floaroma. Madame Boss deploys Dr. Namba with Butch and Cassidy to get ahold of Latias and experiment with updated rage crowns, hoping to control it and use its telepathy to communicate with other Pokemon. They capture Latias fairly quickly and take it to abandoned Galactic labs for experimenting.
When news of the Galactic labs being in use again, Hikari and Drew jump into action. Hikari leaves to fight with Akagi, but gets caught up in the Shaymin and Giratina stuff. She asks Drew to keep an eye on things while she’s out of the region. Instead, Drew decides to do a little investigating of his own and sneaks into the labs in question. When he comes across an imprisoned Latias, he calls May for backup. She arrives sometime later.
While patrolling the labs, Butch and Cassidy catch them and a double battle ensues. The battle is interrupted when Dr. Namba arrives with a rage crown controlled Latias. Not wanting to harm Latias, May and Drew retreat to come up with a plan. They return to Hikari’s apartment to brainstorm, but Harley calls about Jirachi. May relays the information to Ruby and sends him in her stead.
They’re able to get in contact with Zoey, the only other person they know they can trust in the region. The trio comes up with a plan together and return the labs a few days later. Zoey and Drew keep Butch and Cassidy busy while May searches the lab for Dr. Namba. When they finally run into each other, she initiates a battle. It lasts a decent time, and Latias seems to be winning because May refuses to outright attack it, but when the opening presents itself, she uses Blaziken to attack the rage crown and break it. When Latias is free, Dr. Namba flees with Butch and Cassidy quickly following after.Â
Almost immediately after, Latias uses Shared Sight to show May Latios trapped in Hunter J’s ship. May calls Ruby, but he’s already aware. She and Drew leaves to meet up with and assist Ruby immediately.Â
THE GRAND PLOT FINALE!!!!!!!!

mewtwo subplot
After the events with the Genesect Army, Hoopa transports Mewtwo to Mossdeep City just before it can make amends with Red and Green, and Mewtwo is not happy. Mewtwo tries to pick a fight, but Hoopa lays it out pretty quickly, destroying a decent amount of Mossdeep in the process. Tate and Liza come to its rescue and bring Metwo to the city’s Pokemon Center to heal up. However, all of the residents are absolutely terrified of everything that’s happening. Against the advice of Tate and Liza, the scientists from the Space Center take the unconscious Mewtwo to the center and keep him under observation, effectively using psychic Pokemon and blocks to neuter Mewtwo’s powers.Â
When Mewtwo wakes up, he’s immediately brought back to memories of being in the Rocket labs and freaks out. He breaks free and destroys parts of the Space Center. Tate and Liza call Steven for advice and backup, and he contacts Lance, who sends Red, Leaf, and Green after the Weather Duo events.Â
Meanwhile, the news about Mewtwo is getting regional coverage and catches the attention of Giovani. Gio heads to Hoenn with the intentions of recapturing Mewtwo and finishing what he started years ago -- Mewtwo is his creation, and he intends to get his money’s worth. Mewtwo reacts horribly to seeing Vio again, and as the most morally ambiguous of the  legendaries, attempts to kill him, but obviously the Kanto kids can’t have that because they’re the good guys, so all of the progress they gained before it lost from defending Gio’s life. Mewtwo reverts back to the mentality that humans don’t actually care about Pokemon mindset, particularly when the trio is forced to battle him. TO prove that it’s not true, the trio recalls their Pokemon and decide to settle everything using Tate and Liza’s psychic powers, but Mewtwo is way too strong for them.Â
However, Mewtwo is impressed by the display nonetheless. In the end, what gets him is watching Leaf heal one of her injured Pokemon. The compassion she has for her partner gets to him, and he reconsiders his actions and decides to hear them all out. The police arrest Giovanni, and the kids promise Mewtwo that he’ll pay for everything he’s done. Mewtwo is pacified by that and agrees to return to Kanto, but refuses to go in a Pokeball and disappears once they arrive back in the region because he still doesn’t want to be around humans. The truce they decide on is that they’ll respect Mewtwo’s privacy and keep its regional whereabouts a secret as long as Mewtwo inflicts no harm.
celebi subplot
After the events in Sinnoh with the Ho-Oh subplot, Hibiki and Silver return to Johto to release Ho-Oh back into the wild. They patrol the region for a little while and even make a trip to Kanto to check on everything there. Silver leaves to recapture the Regis, and Hibiki runs into Celebi in Viridian Forest while it’s trying to escape some Rocket grunts.Â
When Celebi spots Hibiki, it remembers the instructions it’s been given by Arceus and transports them back in time. However, it gets distracted by the Rocket grunts and ends up transporting them back to that spot nine years ago. They realize it when they see a young Hibiki and Kotone traveling through the forest together, annoying Silver. So Celebi tries again! This time there’s no way of checking the date since his phone still shows his timeline’s current day, but Hibiki still doesn’t trust Celebi. He decides to try and call someone and use the conversation to determine the general years and decides on Hikari since she’s pretty much a constant over the years and also her phone number is the only one that never changed. Unfortunately, Brendan ends up answering her phone because I hate myself, and he realizes they are absolutely in the wrong year.
Celebi gets it right after that when it transports them one last time. They run into some travelers and ask them about the date -- April 26th of that same year. Celebi uses its telepathy to communicate what Arceus told it to Hibiki into releasing Dragonite, and they fly to Kalos together. On the way, it explains his job, which is to essentially rescue the Prison Bottle from being smashed by Unbound Hoopa when it escapes from and destroys the Flare labs. It’s dangerous, but he manages to accomplish it, and while Hoopa is chasing them, Celebi transports them back to Viridian Forest, one minute after they first left.Â
Hibiki gives the Prison Bottle to Professor Oak, who begins tinkering with it.
yveltal subplot
Calem stays behind in Kanto when the tracking software detects Yveltal somewhat nearby in the region, but between the glitching and his complete lack of Kanto geographical knowledge, he’s completely lost. Luckily for him, Leaf gets stuck behind when Red and Green leave to go track down Mewtwo. Calem goes to her for help, and she’s basically like Well, yeah, of course you can’t find it -- this is telling you it’s in Johto and becomes his reluctant tour guide.
They travel together until they reach Ecruteak and Leaf puts together the history of the Burned Tower a d mythology of Yveltal together.Â
Fortunately, Yveltal has been keeping to itself and no villains had found it yet. They double battle it, and everything handled pretty quickly. Calem returns to Kalos, and Leaf meets up with the boys back in Kanto before leaving with them to capture Mewtwo once and for all.Â
xerneas + zygarde subplot
The PC Mods collaborate on a software for the Pokedexes that allow the users to track down the legendaries based on information logged on the legendaries in previous journey encounters. A beta version is released, and while it’s super glitchy, Calem and Serena are the first two to try it out. In search of the Kalos trio, they arrive in Kanto roughly the same time the Weather Duo subplot occurs.
Meanwhile, Malva has already led Team Flare to Kanto in search of Xerneas. While there, they fight with Team Rocket over who gets control of the legendaries. Malva maintains that she only wants Xerneas, but Archer is Not having it. Calem and Serena catch Flare and Rocket grunts battling sporadically in the region and realize they need to act quickly, but the software is still too glitchy to be completely reliable.
They manage to get in contact with Red, Leaf, and Green, but they’re far too busy dealing with Groudon and Kyogre to help them search the region. Instead, they tell them to work off the tip Lance gave earlier, about having come across a frightening green Pokemon while patrolling Cerulean Cave. The Kalos pair heads there first and quickly run into Zygarde, where it’s freaking out because its big thing is maintaining the ecosystem, and Groudon and Kyogre are ruining everything. It’s somewhat vicious and rabid, but they manage to calm it down and capture it. They spend some time searching through the cave in the hopes of finding Xerneas as well, but they come up short.
Blaine, however, calls the Kanto trio with news of Rocket and Flare fighting each other over Xerneas at the Seafoam Islands. The Kanto trio contact the Kalos duo, and they head out immediately.Â
They arrive in the middle of the battle -- Blaine and his gym trainers are pretty much wiped out from all the fighting. Proton is in the process of subduing Xerneas wehn Zygarde releases itself from the pokeball and basically goes ham on Proton. Zygarde ends up handling Proton and the rest of Rocket while Calem and Serena deal with Flare. This is the first time Malva defeats Serena, and it kicks off her storyline for the plot. Calem ends up having to take over the battle for her and sends her to deal with the grunts.Â
They manage to fight off the evil teams and return to a Pokemon Center with the legendaries. Nearby, they come across a ring they would put them back in Kalos. Serena takes the legendaries, wanting to leave as soon as possible, but Calem decides to stay behind because the software that they’d pretty much deemed useless by that point is detecting another Kalos legendary nearby.Â
sinnoh legendaries subplot
After being defeated by Cheren, Charon decides to take a step back and devise his own plans. His endgame is to get Arceus down from the Hall of Origin for capture, and he decides the best way to accomplish that is to cause as much chaos with the Sinnoh legendaries as possible, ultimately using Giratina to recreate whatever exceptionally violent act got it banned to the Distortion World in the first place. His plan is very lowkey, and he collects as many of the legendaries as he can before they surface into public view.
Uxie is the first on his list, and collects it in Foretree, using it’s command of knowledge to track down the rest of the legendaries. He discovers that Mesprit is hiding in Olivine, but when he remembers the emotional tether between Mesprit and Hikari, he decides to wait until Darkrai has knocked her unconscious for days to retrieve the second lake guardian. During this particular excursion, Butch and Cassidy come across him and report his activities to Madame Boss. She decides to sit on the information for now. Meanwhile, Azelf is captured in White Forest in July.Â
Charon focuses his energy on the time and space trio next. Madame Boss works on her ideas to get back to the Unova kids for ruining her plans with the Genesect Army and needs a distraction to keep any of the protags/rivals from snooping. As a distraction, she discloses her information on Charon’s movements and intentions to Sird, who she knows will do something drastic with the opportunity to get back at her estranged father, allowing Madame Boss to fly under the radar.
Sird is smart enough to put two and two together and figures that Charon’s endgame must involve Giratina, so she consults with Akagi, figuring his connection with the legendary and already established disdain of Charon will work in her favor. Together, they decide that it’s time to put an end to Charon for once and all. They know they’ll have trouble accomplishing the task on their own and decide to get the help of some unwitting protags.
Between the two of them, Hikari can’t stand Akagi and cautiously trusts Sird, so Sird leaves to meet up with her in Hoenn, knowing her hero gene will likely kick in once learning the Sinnoh legendaries are in danger. She tracks Hikari and Serena down to the beach in Hoenn where they’re still searching for Looker. To her surprise, Hikari rebuffs her manipulation due to her own physical and mental exhaustion and snaps at her to find someone else to do her dirty work. Sird leaves, although not entirely discouraged because she knows enough was said to put the wheels of their plan in motion.Â
Other plot events take place after that.
After Hikari and Serena return to Kalos to check with Emma on information on Looker, Charon arrives in search of Dialga. With control over Palkia, he causes  a ruckus in the region trying to capture Dialga, making Hikari and Serena track him down. Hikari becomes immediately frustrated because now she can no longer ignore the issue, and she and Serena engage Charon in a double battle. Unfortunately for them, they have zero battle chemistry together and can’t seem to get on the same page. It’s easy enough for Charon to defeat them and capture Dialga before making his escape.Â
Charon disappears to track Giratina again, but doesn’t actually resurface with his plan until Giratina starts the legendary fight at Parfum Castle.Â
deoxys subplot
Towards the end of the summer, Hoopa moves Deoxys from where it’s been hiding in Unova to Lumiose, a very crowded and panicked city after the Dialga incident in the region. Having already been separated from the other Deoxys when Hoopa teleported it, Deoxys becomes more panicked than before. It flees to the top of the Prism Tower and essentially repeats history, using its powers to cut Lumiose off from the rest of not only the region, but the world physically and technologically. No one is able to get in or out. While the city is still full of residents, the only notable characters left in the city at the time are Clemont, Sycamore, Calem, Hibiki, Green, and Hikari.Â
The Lumiose residents understandably freak out and the tension between Deoxys and everyone else is off the charts. A few gang members try to take Deoxys on themselves, and while Deoxys lays them out pretty quickly, it only makes everyone else twice as scared and panic even more. Clemont and Hikari immediately work on crowd control. Sycamore and Green try to use what they have on hand at the lab to find the other Deoxys, wherever it might be in space. They try to figure out a way to contact anyone outside the city, but it’s a pretty moot point.
Meanwhile, more and more residents attempt to defeat Deoxys, which just makes everything worse. Deoxys essentially goes into survival mode and starts fighting back without holding back anymore. Pokemon started getting knocked out and parts of the city are destroyed or wrecked in the crossfire. The group there fears that things are only going to escalate more until everything is ruined, so more action is taken.Â
During its rampage, Calem and Hibiki step up to battle and try to calm Deoxys themselves. Clemont and Hikari keep the Lumiose residents at bay, both battling them to keep them away from the fight and trying to get them to safety.Â
Just as things are starting to seem their bleakest, the barrier in the city is dropped. As it turns out, since Hoopa first teleported it away, the other Deoxys had been looking for it but lost its trail in Unova. Now reunited, they depart Lumiose to return to space, leaving the city nearly devastated behind them.Â
Swords of Justice Subplot
The Swords of Justice get separated while they are in the midst of training their newest addition, Keldeo. Like all the legendaries, they’re bewildered by the sudden change. They end up finding their ways to regions’ forests. Although they wish to find their way home, they end up resuming their duties of protecting other pokemon from harm, delaying their mission.
Keldeo, however, is anxious to return back to Unova. He does not know where he is and where the others went, and was in the middle of learning Sacred Sword when Hoopa transported him elsewhere. Eventually, Keldeo runs into Rayquaza while in Sinnoh. Thinking that it can prove itself worthy of joining the Swords of Justice officially is by fighting (and winning) against Rayquaza. Unfortunately, Rayquaza doesn’t even want to bother.
At this time, the PC mods have created the legendary tracking software, and Bianca and the BW2 kids are trying to figure out which ones are still missing from the region. They realize it’s the Swords of Justice and the Forces of Nature, so the BW2 kids volunteer for the former, while Bianca calls on Touko to help with the latter.Â
Luckily for Keldeo, Hyuu ends up saving him the second time he tries to battle Rayquaza - in which Raquaza decides that it will fight back if only to stop him from bothering it anymore.
Mei finds Virizon in Kalos, and Kyouhei finds Terrakion in Kanto. Just as he is about to get to Cobalion, Hoopa takes it to Johto.
Once the trio reunites in Johto to find Cobalion, they find the leader did not land well and is stuck on a ledge. Together, they end up saving Cobalion and returning the Swords of Justice back home in Unova. They lead the trio to Pledge Grove, and they witness Keldeo learning Secret Sword, transform into his Resolute forme, and become a full-fledged member of the Swords of Justice.Â
Mewtwo vs. Genesect Army Subplot
Not too long after Cheren and Accel return to Unova and Touya returns from Hoenn, Mewtwo shows up at the P2 Laboratory, which is still active. They still have the containers for the Genesect when they were creating them and it triggers bad memories for Mewtwo. So, he blows it up and flees for the mainland.
Touya first catches a glimps of Mewtwo over Striaton City. When he realizes what it is, he calls Red and Green while on his way to catch up with Cheren about the Genesect Army.
Mewtwo travels around, from cave to cave, finding people or pokemon there when he just wants to be alone. Eventually, he ends up in Chargestone Cave and encounters a group of metal pokemon. One of them is a shiny red. Using his psychic abilities, he reads into them and tries to emphaize with them since they were both human made but the red leader rejects him and attacks. The rest of the genesect follow suit, and Mewtwo fights them off until he can get away from them.
Cheren is too late when he shows up at Chagestone Cave after getting the signal from Sird’s device and hearing reports from bystanders, but along the way, he picks up Shaymin and tells Hikari he has her.
Touya finally encounters the genesect army near Lostlorn forest. After yet another misunderstanding, they try to fight him off, then flee. Touya tries to get a hold of Cheren, but because Shaymin is freaking out to Hikari about what it’s like going through the rings, Cheren misses Touya’s texts and calls.
Turns out, the army did not flee too far. Mewtwo is annoyed, so he starts fighting back the next time they clash - which is in Black City. The same Black City Madame Boss currently resides in.
Touya is the first person on the scene and confirms with Red and Green where to meet him. Cheren also arrives after giving Shaymin to Hikari. The whole scene is a complete mess, with citizens fleeing in the wake of the fighting pokemon. It only gets worse when Madame Boss officially enters the fray.
The kids split up: Red and Green try to break up the now one-on-one match between Mewtwo and the Red Genesect, while Cheren and Touya are trying to keep Madame Boss from capturing the other Genesect. Accel is let out of his pokeball to try and protect them and calm them down.
Madame Boss also has her grunts, which makes the situation “A Complete Bother”. But Red and green take down the ones who are after the Red Genesect, and Touya and Cheren are able to take down the other grunts with no problem.
The Red Genesect still is able to control the minds of the other genesect to the point of having them attack all humans. Even while fighting Mewtwo (who the Red Genesect thinks is on the side of the humans), he has a vague hold on them.
Touya gives an inspirational talk to try and snap the genesect out of it, and it almost works, but it isn’t enough. What helps them snap out of it is when they see Accel protect Cheren and Touya from an attack. The Red Genesect asks Accel why would he protect these humans, and Accel explains that it’s because they’re his friends. It causes the Red Genesect to release its hold on the other members, having them regan their own free will to do what they want.
Madame Boss almost uses this as a chance to catch one of the Genesect Army members, but Accel’s hyperdrive mode is activated from reaching such a low HP level. They defeat Madame Boss.
The officers in the city manage to arrive and arrest her, but she doesn’t leave quietly. The whole time, she tries to guilt trip them for beating her.
Cheren talks to the Genesect army about coming with him and providing them with a “home”. Meanwhile, Mewtwo managed to slip away, but Red and Green goes after him and follow him to the city outskirts. Before Mewtwo can leave, they end up having to battle him to get him to listen to their plan of bringing him back to Kanto, and that they just want to him, only for him to get sucked into a hoopa ring.
