The view from Heath’s bed might never get old. He could see all of Sleepy Hollow out of the floor to ceiling windows that lined the back wall of the open floor plan of his apartment. The most expensive apartment in the whole city he’d like to boast about to anyone who would listen. 

Although right now he didn’t care much for the skyline when the woman next to him was much nicer to look at. Ever since he met Meg, she had peaked his interest. He wasn’t even sure what it was about her. But out of all the girls he paid to dance - he always found his eye following Meg the most. Maybe it was the fact that she refused to idolize him like all the others he took to his bed. Or that until recently she was unavailable. Shacked up with that prick she called a boyfriend. And that just made her all the more desirable. 

Lucky for Heath, the boyfriend wasn’t in the picture. The poor bastard abandoned Meg without a second thought. Lucky for her, Heath was there to console her. How kind of him. "You forgotten all about that lowlife of a boyfriend yet?” He said softly, moving over to rest his hand on her hip. “I think we both know I’m twice the man he’ll ever be.”
