@feeling-of-deja-vu liked for a starter.
Winston hums to himself as he rummages through spare parts, listening to the tell-tale zip as Lena paces back and forth behind him. She didn't even need to announce her presence for him to know she was there - he's gotten used to recognizing the sound her arrival makes, no matter how subtle it may be.
Once he finds the part he needs, he sets it next to his prototype, before finally turning to face her. "You didn't tell me you were coming," He says with a chuckle. Not that she needs to, of course. Although he would be lying if he said that her showing up unannounced like this doesn't make him a little nervous. Most of the time that means that something urgent has happened. Likely involving the Chronal Accelerator. But that doesn't mean he would rather her not show up at all. In fact, he would every day and night repairing it for her, if that's what she needed. "Is this a social visit, or did you need something?"
