This holiday doesn't get enough credit. As soon as Halloween's over, society skips to Christmas. But I personally like Thanksgiving.
And now I will bore you with what I am thankful for.
First off, my mom. Yes, I'm thankful for my family (sisters, brother, uncle, aunt) but her mostly. She's really done so much for me and she supports us so well. She's so strong and I don't know what I'd do without her.
I'm thankful for my dog. I'm calm and happy when I'm with her. She's wonderful. I don't care if you think that's stupid. I love her.
I'm thankful for my friends too, because they always know how to cheer me up or just keep me happy. They're so great, I can truly be myself around them, and they won't mind. I got closer to a lot of people this year, and I'm thankful for that too.
I'm thankful for my education, but not for my school because quite honestly I loathe that place. I've made friends there, yes, but aside from them it's torture. This is exaggerated. I can deal with my school. I just don't like to.
I'm thankful for Thanksgiving! Because otherwise, a lot of us would never remember to say "thank you" to those who deserve it.
