Not a single day passes by without by without him worrying about his home planet, how his people are doing, how things have changed, and how his mother is. Everyday consisted of himself letting these questions float around, as he tried his best to put his knowledge, skills, and years of learning how to time travel together to fix the clock and return home. Up to the time of now, he has gotten nowhere far, he gained help from a few, but the most help he had was during the late 1890s. During that period of 1897, he had met many people who looked exactly the same compared to those of the 20th century. Today, however, he did not expect to come into contact with someone, someone who managed to help him cross the sea on a ship. This person resembles him, he thought. His eyes scanned the male, not knowing if he made the creature uncomfortable. “Do I know you?” The young male questioned. The color of his eyes change into a yellow, feeling shock from the sudden question. Had he known the whole time I have been observing him? “Maybe in a different century, you did.” Now the color of the alien’s eyes altered into a light peach. He surprised himself, he shouldn’t of said that, he should of have never mentioned it all. The only thought that ran through his mind and pushed everything away was to get away as quick as possible. Get away from that creature; to avoid him.
▐ █ It was odd really, how he could read people. Maybe it was one of the abilities he had obtained along with his countless others-- But there has always been something that triggered in his mind. A way he could tell how a person was feeling, what their personality was like, or even a glimpse of their past. And this was just what Holden had decided to do on this boring afternoon.
Casually leaning against the cold brick wall of a building as he studied the pedestrians that roamed the busy streets, it was a past time of his. To scan his dark, deep set eyes over the faces of those who walked by him. It didn’t matter to him how strange or intimidating people thought he was. Of course, he didn’t care. He found enjoyment in this-- And that was all that mattered. But then he saw a face that appeared far too familiar for his liking. His eyebrows furrowing as he pushed himself off the wall and made his way over to the man.
Holden began with a simple question, though he was confused to see his presence almost startle the man. And as he noticed the stranger attempt to escape further conversing, he grabbed a hold of his arm. He couldn’t let this man get away from him after such an interesting answer like that. “Hey wait-- What do you mean in another century?” Holden waited until the man was facing him again, wide eyes showing obvious signs of uneasiness.
“That can’t be possible? I have to know you from somewhere...”
