Character Development Questions
1. How do they move and carry themselves? Pace, rhythm, gestures, energy?
Piano is very proper with how she holds herself. She is always balanced, upright, and holding her head high. She moves quickly, always wanting to get things done asap, and usually doesn’t spend a lot of time wasting it.
4. What is their size and build? How does it influence how they use their body, if it does?
Smalllllll. Piano wasn’t made to be much bigger than Forte and Rock. Since Rock is 4′4″ and Forte is 4′5″, naturally she falls at 4′4″ as for her build, she’s no fighting robot. She isn’t extremely small, however, because her armor is made to be strong on defense. It doesn’t influence how she does things all that much. She will stand up straight and proper in order to not make herself look like a child, but that’s about it.
41. What associations do they bring to mind? Words or phrases, images, metaphors or motifs? Why?
This was already answered here!

Character Development Questions
9. How do they manifest energy, exhaustion, tension, or other strong emotions?
It’s pretty rare that Piano shows strong emotions in general. She isn’t as monotone as some robots, but she doesn’t act out very often. She gets energy when things are all working out and going her way- once she was so happy with how things were going she began cackling evilly. Tension is easy, anyone who she sees as an actual threat/challenge will make her tense. It’s not often she gets exhausted because she’s a robot made to work day and night.
38. Is there anything they wish they could change about their worldview or thought processes? What, and why?

38. Is there anything they wish they could change about their worldview or thought processes? What, and why?
In all honesty, Piano is very close minded. She’s programmed to see the world a certain way and sticks to it very strongly. I don’t think there’s anything she wants to change about her worldview because she literally has never put herself in any other way of thinking. She sees it as “you either think like I do or you’re naive.” It’s not a good way of thinking and I’m more than positive that it will come back to her in the future.

Character Development Questions
22. How do people respond to them, and why might these responses differ?
It really depends on how much they know her. Oddly I’ve noticed that people tend to be extremely polite/kind to Piano when they first meet her. Of course she loves when people treat her with respect, so on the outside she’ll treat them the same way. The more time people spend with her the more they kinda go “haha wait I can’t tell if you’re joking about that or serious.”She more or less can’t help making comments about how useful something is, which is usually where people start becoming concerned. Once they find out she is a Wilybot it only grows. No one sees her as much of a threat as they would a fighting robot, but a lotta folks will give the side eye.
25. What do they need and want out of relationships, and how do they go about getting it?
She wants to gain something out of any relationship she has. Whether it’s information, resources, etc. she’s always looking to get something from someone. Piano would never be the kind of person to look at someone and think “I want to interact with this person” just for the sake of interacting. If she doesn’t see them as ‘useful’ she’ll drop them pretty fast. Though, if someone is useful she’ll ‘maintain a relationship’ by checking up on them every once in a while, maybe doing some favors, being polite, and trying to make herself seem trustworthy.
30. What is their preferred level of activity and stimulation? How do they cope if they get either too little or too much?
Physically Piano doesn’t like doing much. She’s perfectly fine with being cooped up all day and focusing on what needs to get done. It does make her restless every once in a while, but she can really stay at home for a week. However, she does need a lot of stimulation. It’s why she’s always programming, writing something down, or even picking up side projects like reprogramming a Sniper Joe. Piano is programmed to keep everyone on their toes and make things happen, so when things aren’t happening she gets restless. If she gets too little she’ll make some by taking on a side project or doing research of some kind. If she gets too much she’ll go into Stressed Mod and basically act the same way as an overworked high school student. Refusing to stop work until it’s all done, not being satisfied with what is complete, snapping at anyone who tries to tell her to take a break, etc.

Character Development Questions
15. What kind of inner life do they have — rich and imaginative? Calculating and practical? Full of doubts and fears? Does it find any sort of outlet in their lives?
Piano lives an all around ugly inner life. She can go out and interact with people, joke around and throw insults, learn more about the world, make acquaintances, grow closer to people, but on the inside she is always focused on her one goal. She wants to overthrow Wily and take over as soon as she can. Nothing is more important to her than that. Her programming is as evil as Wily is himself. She doesn’t show this (fully) outwardly due to the fact that she’s learned it makes people trust her less, but that is how she is. I’m not sure if anything at this point could truly pull her away from that. She’s willing to say one thing, but at the end of the day Piano will do whatever it takes to get what she wants.
It shows a lot through her day to day interactions, especially if she gets emotional about something. If someone is paying close attention they will see it, but if they give her anything she can use against them she will in order to make herself seem trustworthy.
34. How do they understand the world–what kind of worldview and thought processes do they have? Why?
Wily programmed Piano to be, basically, a SWN that will carry on his legacy even when he’s gone. Piano’s understanding of the world is that it’s there to be taken over. It’s all she’s really ever known, to be honest. She’s never one to stop and appreciate the little things, she’s always plotting and getting things done and working towards what she wants.
41. What associations do they bring to mind? Words or phrases, images, metaphors or motifs? Why?
This is a surprisingly difficult one. The colors purple and hot pink are the obvious ones to me. Also computers and programming kind of stuff. When I think of her the words ‘evil’ and ‘manipulative’ also come to mind, maybe even ‘power hungry.’
Oooo I like those new icons of her you've drawn. Real cute!
