Today was the day, Tyler had decided. Today was the day that he would ask Dream to move in. It had been something he'd been kicking around in his head the past few weeks, after... well, after Ash had left.

No, not Ash. Ashley. They weren't friends anymore. They weren't anything anymore. Aside from the inevitable conversation of what pets went with who- although he was suspecting a custody arrangement might be easier at this point- she'd cut him out if her life and he had cut her from his.

The why wasn't important. What was important was that Ash had moved out, and that barrier was gone. It had always been an admittedly flimsy excuse, even to him, that he couldn't move in with Dream because he still lived with Ash, think of the pets, it wouldn't be fair to them or her. No, they weren't married anymore, hadn't been for awhile, but she had still been his best friend.

Until she wasn't, and that excuse was gone.

It had scared him at first, the thought of asking Dream to move in. It seemed so real, so official. But with Ashley gone, the house seemed so big, and it was starting to feel empty, lonely when Dream wasn't around. They'd gotten to a point where it seemed weirder not having him around all the time.

Maybe it was a little selfishly driven, this sudden wanting to ask Dream to move in when Tyler still couldn't even say the word boyfriend without getting flustered and blushing red- he didn't know if he'd ever be able to fully get past that.

But it wasn't entirely selfish, either. Dream had seemed so down, so defeated after what happened last night that really, what could be a better way to cheer him up than break this good news to him? Hell, they could even start moving Dream into his place today; Tyler had stayed the night at Dream's place, and he wouldn't mind showing off his strength a bit as Dream lounged on a sofa, watching him move his things in, blending their existences together.

He wouldn't mind that at all, actually. He was so caught up in this fantasy at breakfast that he put his spoon down from his usual grapefruit, declaring right then and there- "You should move in today. To my place. Yeah?"

It was not the jostling that woke her up, nor the quiet chatter of nearby voices, nor the soft breeze that blew over her bare skin and chilled her to the bone.

It was the pain. 

The thud of pain, rising into a sharp lick across her ankle, and then a fire in her veins. Slowly, she became aware of each of these sensations, and as her drowsy mind became clouded further by them, she hissed and contorted, and faintly felt the scrape of hardened soil beneath her elbows. Frantically, she tried to recall just what was causing such pain, and in a moment of stupendous clarity, it all flooded back into her brain in sharp and blinding images.

The cave. The spies. The knife. Will. Lyra---

“Lyra.” The name became caught in her throat, half a groan, half a bark, bitten off as another wave of pain seized her. The poison was leaving her system, but it would be another few hours at least before the effects totally subsided. 

Grimacing as she attempted to uncurl herself, she felt that her limbs were in fact not just bound by the contraction of her muscles, but by tightened knots of rope that scraped against her wrists. She was tied, but by who? Had Asriel found her in the cave? Had the Magisterium come to collect her? She was loathe to open her eyes, but she knew she had to confront what fate had befell her. 

With a slow exhale, Mrs. Coulter tentatively cracked open her eyes, wincing at the light of the sun, her mind attempting to fight past the throbs that racked her body in order to comprehend what she was seeing.

Was that...?

No....

Mrs. Coulter’s bottom lip nearly trembled as her vision came into stunning focus.

That had to be her. No, no, her mind was playing tricks on her. Her daughter had run, had left the cave, had left her behind--- she twisted her head about to take in her surroundings slowly, so as not to disturb her captors, or alert to them that she was indeed awake. There was a great white bear alarmingly close by, and ---yes, she could see that indeed, there was Will, and---

“...Lyra?” Yes, she was sure now, that was her darling little girl. But then where in the world were they? And why was she bound? Had they bound her limbs together? Her captors were... oh, the irony was not lost on her, but still she felt she had no fully grasped what was happening. “What is... what is this...” She murmured softly, lifting her head a little and twisting her face so that her hair remained out of her eyes. “What’s happened? Where are we?”

          Steve just smiled, drifting off only to wake up a while later. He looses his hands off Tony, not wanting a repeat of the earlier events. He clenched his hand trying to reign in himself, the silence wasn’t doing him any favours. He slipped out from under Tony, kissing the other forehead before he walk out the room and the cabin.

          He doesn’t know how much time had passed and he left Bucky on the kitchen cooking patties for meal. He went back to their room, checking on Tony.

          “I feel like you only want another one because you want my hands on you.” She raised her brows suggestively, before laughing and resigning to raise her hand in a fight stance. “Alright here’s the deal, if you win- I’ll get you wine but If I do, you buy me one of those changing color thing.”

Yixing knows his talents and his....no so talents. He can cook, he can sing, and can strum a dandy tune on a guitar. Now when it comes down to creativity, he’s not so lucky in talent, especially when it drawing. He just don’t understand how shapes and lines can just gather together to make the perfect picture. The logic just doesn't click for the Chinese male.

That’s why he’s always so fascinated with Taehyun’s drawings. Just seeing the end product always makes him gape in awe. Yixing always wanted to try but was just a but too nervous to ask his friend to teach him. 

However seeing his friend currently doodle on some napkins while they sat in a cafe, Yixing had a strong urge to draw along. Yixing quickly acquired a pen and started to dutifully doodle on his own blank napkin, his tongue poking out in concentration. When he finished his...well drawing, Yixing proudly slid it over to his younger companion, a bright smile on his face.

“Look TaeTae! I drew Polly!” If Yixing was an emoji his face would currently be (づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づ

Kyunho era uma pessoa dolorosamente entediante às vezes; o tipo que, pasmem, ficava genuinamente animado para a volta às aulas. A verdade é que ele não aguenta mais o marasmo das férias, mesmo com o emprego de meio período e a ajuda que insistia em dar no restaurante da tia quando estava em casa. Não chegava nem perto da agenda lotada além do bom senso que mantinha na faculdade, com o time e os estudos e vida social — por que no clássico diagrama de Venn do universitário entre socialização, estudos e horas de sono, ele tinha abdicado do último —, e honestamente, ele sentia falta das pessoas. O convívio familiar era ok, por que é claro que ele sentia falta da mãe e da irmã, mas estava terrivelmente acostumado a ver um bocado de pessoas todos os dias, de maneira que nem todo o kakaotalk do mundo supria tal vazio. Então sim, por mais patético que pareça, ele estava fazendo seu melhor para parecer ocupado no celular perto da entrada do dormitório, esperando que um dos amigos aparecesse e ele pudesse emboscá-lo. E bem, alguém apareceu mesmo; só não era ninguém que ele estivesse esperando. — @bcu-sunyoung? Nam Sunyoung? — Quem visse a expressão surpresa no rosto de Kyunho pensaria que ele era um idol exagerando sua reação para as câmeras, mas uma amiga de infância que deixara em Ulsan certamente era o bastante para fazer a boca se abrir em um “o” perfeito. — Ya, sou eu, Kyunho! Da escola! — O indicador foi apontado para o próprio peito, como se pudesse haver algum outro Kyunho da mesma escola que ela passando por perto.

Stuck In Hell {Redeux}

Mariku sat behind his desk just biding his time until the bell would ring. His students didn’t seem to be interested in what he had to say, as he had already had to call down on quite a few of them who were old enough to know better not to be talking during his lesson plans. One in particular who was seated next to Mai had caught his attention, and not just for the reasons of being a little chatterbox.

The clock seemed to be ticking painfully slow, and he usually wouldn’t have noticed, but it was the weekend, and he was in the mood to actually go out, and have a little fun. Professor wasn’t always his first choice of a career- no, if he had had any choice he would have went into something with a little bit more meat, and entertainment.

He stood up from the desk pushing his chair away, nearly hitting the metal of dry erase board when he decided that it was a good time to make someone’s life a living hell this weekend. He was fond of scoping someone out from time to time to single out, and punish, and sometimes if he was lucky it was even someone who didn’t mind trying to appease him in favors. The Mai girl was one such he had had his eye on, but that had changed when he got a glimpse of the young female who was seated next to her in the classes.

This was it; he had found his target, and now with quiet calculation, he would go in for the kill. Slamming his hands flat on his desk, and even startling a few students he pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose. They were for pure cosmetic show, but he liked how they made him appear more academic- and that was a very well, and good thing in his line of work.

“Ms, Yagari? Would you mind seeing me after class?” 

Just as he asked that the bell rang, and his students stood up. Some discussing the History assignment in general, and others just seeming rather excited to be going home already.

“That won’t be a problem will it?” He reiterated just to make himself appear not all that much of a hard ass.
