Cause I’m thinking of Sylus ending up in a one bedroom studio of a college student whose been in school long enough to get a masters but hasn’t gotten a degree cause they kept switching majors, finally doubled down on being a nurse cause what they really need is a bigger paycheck then the two jobs they working to keep up the rent. And Sylus just uses his computer engineering skills and charisma to worm his way into the inner groups of major tech companies ceos and acquires lots of stocks and businesses that other companies thought were too risky to buy due to them about to be bankrupt, turn it around to make profits off of. All from the old ass laptop from highschool you let him borrow and a month later he just tells you “pack up sweetheart I got us a new place” and it’s a swanky penthouse at one of those fancy apartments with a doorman.
Anyway Sylus doesn’t let him being back to nothing bring him down, he merely jumps up as the newest millionaire on the block within a month and now he’s subtly telling you you don’t have to get a degree for a job you don’t want to work in. (Which you took as he wants a house wife but you still want to work so instead tell him you want that old ass brick factory so you can turn it into a restaurant and work as a chef there, which Sylus is just exasperated cause you always said you hated cooking for other people why are you cooking for other people? “No Sylus I just hate when a man stands in the kitchen while I’m cooking and going ‘ you gonna let me have a bowl right?’ Like he expects me to cook for free, I have people PAYING for my food instead of expecting me to give them it for free. There’s a difference.”
“And what about the restaurant? You said you hated working at that restaurant, it made you feel miserable.”
“Because their food sucked ass and the chef is a bitch that insists no one can cook the signature dishes better than him, so I’m proving him wrong by making the same dishes but BETTER!”)
I got off count, anyway sylus with a reader that’s not afraid to tell him to buy her stuff but instead of clothes and jewelry it’s weird stuff she can turn into a hobby (like impulsively buying an old factory and turning it into a Michelin star restaurant only to get bored after a year of playing chef and restaurant owner and passing on the baton to someone else, then 6 months later of quiet, tells Sylus she wants to launch a fashion line and demand he buys her a studio she can make her designer clothes in. Essentially a reader with a lot of creativity but also lots of impulse desires and somehow a lot of luck that the impulse business ideas succeed a LOT. (Sylus is making sure her “business ideas” actually succeed since he realizes that she doesn’t actually know how to keep her ideas “afloat” for long.)

But seriously, you know Sylus is so smug when he takes you to the new apartment. I honestly think he's happy to invest money into your projects (he definitely also gets you some jewellery though!). He likes seeing you to be true to who you are instead of compromising parts of yourself as you try to awkwardly fit into the world around you.
