It was no secret that the blond fugitive liked to be crazy every once in a while, but maybe this time he'd gone a little overboard. Usually he'd remain within the Lucis area and get into trouble for the little antics he and his friends would occasionally play on the regulars - Hey, can't have all work and no fun!
But this time, he'd sorta.. kinda.. lost track of where he was altogether. He thought it'd be a pretty nifty idea to see what else there was beyond Lucis. Of course, he used to be a freelancer just a few years back, but since working for the Caelum's, protecting Noctis and the Crystal, he'd barely stepped a foot out of the place. He couldn't see the harm in venturing out a little further. The freelancer was used to walking and running for miles, so as long as he could find his way back, he supposed he'd be fine.
With his firearm loosely resting on his shoulder, he continued to walk and walk and walk. He was about to give up on trying to find life outside of Lucis altogether when he spotted a tower. A clock tower. It would be irregular to have a clock tower in the middle of no where without someone living close by, right? Well that's what he told himself as he started to pick up pace, one foot in front of the other, his boot catching splashes of mud every now and then, trudging forwards to wherever the hell this place was.
Reaching the edge of the town he covered his forehead with the side of his hand, still having to squint a little from the sun even if it was mid afternoon. Strands of naturally messed hair stuck to his forehead before he'd shake his head vigorously to give it that naturally messed look once again. It was a town. He was stood at the edge of a town. Was he seeing things? Was he dehydrated that he imagined this? No, this was a town, not as big as Lucis, perhaps a quarter of the size, but a town that looked active none the less.
His teeth gently pinched his inner cheek in thought, wondering where exactly he could head first. This place looked so different from Lucis, he wasn't even sure people here would speak the same. Scuffing his boots along the cobbled pavements, he looked around, hoping to find some local. There had to be one person lurking around, even if it was a child. Something caught his eye briefly, was that? No it wasn't the sun, unless the sun suddenly became red close up.
He blinked and squinted his eyes, when he suddenly saw a red haired male with headphones in, clearly blocking out the world. He looked normal, he guessed, and admittedly he liked his boots. Almost dashing over to the red head he stopped just before charging into him and gave him a firm poke on the shoulder.
"Uh, sorry to bother ya, man, but I don't s'pose you know where I am?" He canted his head slightly, realising he probably sounded ridiculous, borderline crazy. He himself had met a few lost people in Lucis, and he knew exactly what he thought about them, let alone what this guy must think of him right now. Raking a hand through his hair, he was quick to add. "I know it sounds crazy, bro, I've just been wand'rin a long time, and I kinda lost track as t'where I actually was.."
