Gem had dealt with and manipulated a variety of Users who entered the Grid. Some of them made better Sirens than others. But she wasn’t sure if any had intrigued her as much as Bella did. Beyond just the physical attractiveness she felt towards Bella, she had heard good things about her training. More than anything, Gem believed she could possibly trust Bella, given her ability to take commands up to this point. Now, she was going to put that to the test. She had methods of ensuring Bella complied with this new role, but Gem didn’t think she would have to make any threats for it to come to fruition.
The elevator made a short, electric buzz as it reached the first floor of her residence, a bright, light blue alert appearing above the doors. She was sitting in her living area, the view of the cityscape just outside of the large panoramic window. Gem’s home was up off the ground, 120 stories high, give her quite the view. She loved looking down across the Grid, and although she had created quite a following of programs, she wouldn’t be satisfied until she’d seized complete power over it. She slowly stood up, her heels clicking as the elevator doors opened, a smirk on Gems face as her guest arrived. “Welcome. You’re one of the few programs invited here, to my private residence.
