Someday the brothers were going to have to talk. Today was not that day. Heph walked impatiently in the cornfield. It wasn’t as if the fire god didn’t know his disadvantaged-Heph looked down at his leg this morning. But Hephaestus would like to believe he has his own thing Ares lacked- a brain.
A cornfield might not be the most conventional location-but it was part of his strategy. Last resort but a strategy. He twirled his cane, contemplating Ares. He knew he was up against someone who was stronger than him might even be more powerful- but Heph had to fight Ares.
For his honor.
The heavy footsteps echoed as he heard the war god. He didn’t even want to see the man who ruined his life. There was a smirk.
“I didn’t think you would show up.”
