There were only a few people Logan knew he could go to, but he was nearest to where Maddie worked when he wandered his way back into town that afternoon. He assumed she’d be off soon so he sat outside to wait. Not as if he was doing anything else.

“Haven’t seen you since...” Well it went without saying. They hadn’t spoken since then he didn’t recall and he wondered what she had thought. Maybe she had figured out something he hadn’t. “Anything new?” It sounded casual when in fact he didn’t care for anything that wouldn’t be useful to him.

Dealing with Dean’s death was a process. Not a long way maybe, but a process to try and realize someone else she loved. She was walking along the bridge near the falls with her arms out to the sides and a bottle of whiskey in her left grip. She teetered and misstep a few times, but she only turned around when she thought she heard someone. “Well hello there,” Bellamy chirped. “Late night stroll?”

Merry Christmas, Maddie. Thought you’d get a little laugh out of these. Hope you have a good day.
Bellamy had needed a slight break from the social aspect of life. She had dived into her work and focused on that and getting orders where they need to go more than she did going out. Her phone was always on for emergency purposes, but she hadn’t heard anything. It was a need for a drink that had her out and about, but spotting Maddie among the patrons threw her off a bit. “So what’s the long face for?” she questioned as she slid into a seat beside her.

While the last encounter had gone sour, Logan’s mindset was refreshed. Sure he was still down the path of burning coven’s to ashes, but he wasn’t as impulsively rude. “Pear girl,” he called, to catch Maddie’s attention.

“You didn’t hear me wrong,” Bellamy promised as she took a seat across from her friend. “I think I’m taking a step back from hunting for a while. I still want to make the weapons for other’s, but I’m doing a pretty shitty job so maybe it’s the time.”
