“You’re pretty much a grown up now,” Bellamy teased. “I for one thought you could do it from the start. Like your job and getting better at things in general. Other people are just idiots.” She had always believed in Levi even when other’s did not.

“it’s okay. i still have my family.” the finality of death had been somewhat of a grey area for sam for a long time, when so many people that he’d known and loved had died and come back to life, and yet so many others hadn’t, it was hard to know when the last time he’d truly see someone would be. knowing that dean was in heaven, and he was happy, made it easier to deal with the fact that he might never see him again. “how have you been recently? are you still having trouble with that whole boyfriend situation?”

“That there is what matters.” Bellamy knew family anchored many. She herself was trying to keep that in mind with her own. “Nah the trouble’s basically passed. Sofia and I are talking again. Not that Levi will like that one but it’s whatever. Things are good. All smoothed out.”

It seemed like the simplest thing, one that wouldn’t cause her too much stress - at least, she hoped not. Mateo and Marcel’s boys had kept a close eye on the place, though. “At least one thing went right,” she muses, flipping through the books, pleased to see that everything from the time she missed is in order.

“Everything ok?”Bellamy had picked up a thing fora drink on not only bad days and she was cautiously aware. None the less she had gone in for some down time (and hoping to see a certain bartender) but Spencer seemed a little out of sorts. At least to her. “Haven’t seen you around.”

“I’ll remind you all of this weekend,” he promised her. He had to do better. Juggle more. Usually he was just focused on one thing and his own needs but he guessed that he had matured. He took the plate, taking a bite of the sandwich, “Mmm, well, I think I’ll always kind of be in danger. Nothin’ I can’t handle, though. I’m dyin’ for a little action.”

“Oh yeah?” Consider her intrigued at that. She understood his schedule though. She hadn’t complained any about that one. “Getting bored of being more settled?” Settled was realitive though, but now that he had his job and Roman she figured that was right.

“Then no.” of course if she would have said yes, he would have went along with how he was the right guy, but as she didn’t, he was also following that same path. Predictable Max, huh? “Yeah yeah, boyfriend,” he nodded his head, “I remember.” how could he forget? “Like to try my luck every now and then.” or always, in his case. “Arrows? Who wants arrows around here then?” he questioned, fully assuming that her business was Mystic Falls centred, purely because she hadn’t said any different.

“I guess we’d see if I was persuaded to the dark side,” Bellamy joked. She found him interesting and if not then she wouldn’t have stuck around that long or made the offer of lunch. Maybe it was kind of ridiculous, but none the less. “Some people like it old school. I never picked that up. Guns and knives are my thing.” The comment slipped by casually that she neglected her usual care or caution. She was assuming anyway most in Mystic Falls knew about the supernatural.

“You’re forgetting that you’re an important part of my life, too,” he pointed out. Honestly, Roman and Bellamy were the most important aspects of his life. It just happened to be that work factored into being a good dad at the moment. “Not really,” he declined to mention his side assign business with Molly. It was getting Roman a college fund, though. “My life, for once, has been pretty borin’. Sorry I can’t give ya any excitement.”

“Not forgetting. I appreciate a reminder though.” She knew that was the case but she didn't fault him for being busy either. “Boring isn’t bad if you’re safe and not in danger or whatever. That’s always a good thing.” Handing him a plate with a sandwich she figured she’d leave it up to him on what else he wanted since she brought a few snacks.

“…. I didn’t know.” He lifted a brow. Why would he? It wasn’t like he and Levi had the best first meeting. Between the bartender smashing glasses and Riley smashing Levi’s face, there wasn’t exactly a window for baby talk. He wondered if Levi had told her about that. “How old?”

“Totally not mine obviously. I mean I want them eventually but that’s off track and off topic sort of. I think like a month old? I’m seriously no good at keeping track of that stuff. I just help Skye out sometimes when she’s busy and Levi’s been working so much. He’s got his job back on the force.” Which was good. He was there the majority of the time though.

You most girls?” he gave her a playful wink, not really bothered by the presence of the waitress, though in turn when directly asked, he ordered the drink he wanted. “Yeah not too bad, better when it’s lively. Got hit on the other day, declined, told her I was waiting on my weapon maker.” he hadn’t, he was joking. “How’s it going? Made anything good?”

“Not even close.” She liked to think she didn’t fall for most tricks. Someone could correct her if she was wrong though on that one. “Hey you got a long wait then. I got that boyfriend remember?” He probably hadn’t forgotten that detail none the less but joking back at him was fun none the less. “Just filling orders that come in. Guns usually. Sometimes special arrows.”

“Damn girl,” he soon chuckled at how what she said sounded, with her keeping his tongue in mind, “It does wonders, if you need to fuel that lil’ fantasy.” or he could quite happily show her, let her experience what he could do for herself, but he knew that was a no go– at least, right now, it was. As he also sat in the booth, he didn’t bother touching the menu. “Just work. My boss is back from vacation, so gotta commit now.” he was joking, he wasn’t a half in half out kind of guy.

“I’m full of jokes. I know.” Bellamy knew her sense of humor wasn’t for everyone. She didn’t play it safe really and it was gonna catch up to her one day probably. “Does that work on most girls?” She smirked as she got a weird look from the waitress who approached and asked about drinks. She gave her request and waited on Max before continuing. “Yeah? Sounds like a fun job at least like I said before.”

“Calm down, Stitch.” He chuckled, the little alien being the first thing that came to his mind. “Always. Bring it in…” Riley opened up his arms for her to come in for a hug. “I’ve been busy. Travelled back to the mothership for a couple weeks. Everything good with you?”

Bellamy smiled as she went to give him a hug. “Only teasing.” She always would too because that was half the fun and simply her personality. “Sounds like a good time. I’ve been keeping busy with work and I’ve been babysitting Roman. AKA Levi’s kid if you didn’t know.”

Unless, of course, she was one of those strong independent women who needed no man to open a door for her. “Not the only thing that’s big, tongue for one, ladies love it.” he teased.

Bellamy thanked him forgetting the door, not being able to help a snort at his comment. She had wondered what kind of reaction she would get out of that one. “Wow. Just gonna have to keep that in mind apparently,” she replied with a little laugh of amusement. Finding a booth she took a seat but didn’t bother with a menu since she knew what she wanted. “So what have you been up to since the shooting range?”

His confidence as well as how forward he always was, was down to his success rate. “That new burger there. Warrior, think it’s called? It’s dope. My new go to.”

“Already declaring yourself a winner?” Bellamy gave a shake of her head as she headed toward the grill. A go to spot and one she was familiar with by now. “That thing could feed like four people, but I guess you do have a big mouth so hey you should have no problem.”

sam looked around with wide eyes and raised brows. “uhhh.. did you have a baby you didn’t tell me about?” he asked, avoiding a pile of babygros and sitting down on the sofa. “i’m doing okay. taking it a day at a time, ya know?” he was coming to terms with dean being gone, but he was learning to live life without his brother.

“Not even I could hide that. No. I help out with my boyfriends kid.” It wasn’t something she minded. She rather liked helping with Roman since she doubted she’d have one of her own. “That’s all you can do. I’m sorry things didn’t turn out how you hoped.”

“Like being chased then?” he questioned, genuinely curious to know. He’d quite happily to do so, after all, who wouldn’t want that to happen? “Me? I’m as good as gold Miss.” he put his hand to his hand, in a false pretence of hurt. Him? Misbehave? Never. “You treat me too good.”

“Maybe I do and maybe I don’t. Someone’s gonna win in the end.” It was amusing none the less to tease. She wasn’t sure Levi would much appreciate her comments, but she wasn’t doing anything too crazy. She respected specific boundaries to some degree. “No one would treat you better. I’m going to the grill because I’m craving some cheese fries. What’s sounding good to you?”
