Brooke: I hope you like fine wine, french food and admiring me in my latest new outfit. We'll go to that new restaurant on the water. My assistant already made us reservations so you can't really say no.

the twinkling city lights passed by in a hazy blur as his driver whizzed down the streets of new jersey en route to the delta psi delta formal. sebastian and brooke were currently tucked into the backseat, passing a bottle of champagne back and forth as they quickly neared their destination. “hey--,” he began, looking over at her with a lazy grin curling on the corners of his lips, “i don’t think i ever said thank you for inviting me to your formal. i am truly honored you would let me be your arm candy-- even if it’s just for tonight.” his words came out fractionally slower than normal, no doubt a result of the copious amounts of alcohol he’d consumed in the last hour. before he had time to ramble more drunken thoughts, the car rolled to a stop outside the panhellenic clubhouse. sebastian hopped from the vehicle and walked around to her door, pulling it open like the gentleman he was, “shall we?” he offered her his elbow, eager to see how this night would play out.

@secretmuses // Ever since coming back to Baberton, Brooke believed that she would never have this. Her track record with men, was well horrible. But yet here she was, married and her daughter was back in her life. And seemed to be okay, with everything. Maybe, that was because of who she was married to, Charlie Baker, one of her best friend’s father. He had been unexpected, but a good surprise in her life. Just like when she had found out, that she was pregnant again. Daniel, their son was five years old now and a handful but luckily he was in school. After she pulled up to the high school, the blonde got out of the car, grabbing their lunch. This was their routine every Friday. Walking these halls, brought back memories, that she didn’t want to think about. Instead, she popped her head into Charlie’s classroom. “Lunch has arrived.” Brooke smiled, while moving fully into the room and over to his desk.

Cameron had invited Brooke over under the guise of a crash course in makeup though she already did okay for herself in that department. She really wanted to as her about being one of her bridesmaids. As she stood there trying to learn how to contour she said, “So you know you’re going to be on makeup duty for me at the wedding right? Because this is all sort of…well more than my expertise. But would that be too much of a burden if I also maybe wanted to see if you would be one of my bridesmaids?”

Nikita’s eyes roamed over the widespread racks of clothing as she endlessly searched for something that screamed easy and comfortable without looking like a potato sack. “I’m starting to think this was a bad idea,” She murmured with a rueful smile as her cerulean gaze flicked over to Brooke beside her. It had only been a few days that Nik had been out of the hospital and, considering the fact that she was still awkward and clumsy on her crutches, she probably should have taken another day to herself lazing about on Colt’s couch. Stubborn as always, though, she’d insisted on a short girls day out to find something she could easily dress herself in that didn’t fall into the category of yoga pants or oversized t-shirts. Resting on her good leg she plucked a large and obnoxiously floral print dress fit for her nanna off the rack and held it to her svelte frame. “Although--- this one has promise.” She teased, watching her friend for a reaction.

Rosemary rolled her eyes, Brooke’s words going in a ear and out the other. She wasn’t going to kiss her ass like some of the girls on the team. “I may be new around here, but this whole cheer is garbage. It’s like it was created for idiots. Synchronized swimming would be more entertaining than this. You should really change some of the moves. The whole thing, actually.”

                  “I should have come round sooner, I know I should have but I just..” what else could he say?
