She had to hurry and report his being here to Hijikata-san, and the others, but the raven-haired didn’t quite yet possess the demonic heart to leave Chikage here by himself exposed to danger either. However so, she knew better than to untie a dangerous man. Observing him once more, their eyes met and she found herself disheartened.
