Henry doesn’t know where he is.
That should be the most concerning part about all this, being somewhere unknown with no bloody idea how he ended up there-- but, alas, that honour goes to the snow-white wilderness that sprawls around him, endless towards every direction.
He can’t feel the cold, though he shivers out of habit, and he notes there’s no fog where he breathes despite the icy crystals which have turned the trees into the brilliant statues of a winter landscape, reflecting the dim moonlight above.
The snow sinks under his boots with each step, but he can’t feel it; a fact that only makes that gut-clenching feeling of tension and unease even worse as he begins to walk, slowly making his way through the darkened woods, lit only by the last few moments of the sunset.
It will be completely dark soon, and he can tell he’ll feel even more lost than he already does...
