{Okay, people seem to enjoy stories about my childhood games and I love to talk about them, so:

When I was little, people always gave me Barbies for gifts, even though I never showed any interest in them or asked for them. But I was like… ok! I have all these dolls ig, what am I gonna do with them? (Dress them up? Pfffff. No.)

The answer was The Great Barbie Shoe Race.

I would get all my shoes and sit the Barbies inside them in “teams”(like a toboggan), and pretend the shoes could fly, and then race them around the house. But I wasn’t just running mindlessly. No, I ran each individual shoe a short length around the house narrating their journey (crossing “mountains” [beds] and “oceans” [the bathtub] ect.), and then went back to show what all the other shoes were doing. In other words, a multi-POV epic. The plot was usually about the adults playing dirty and trying to sabotage the kids, and then the kids overcoming them through the power of Teamwork and Following The Rules, and then the adults learning their lesson at the end.
