MC Rant

Hello, I’m back with another rant! 

Can we please start tagging posts with the gender we use in scenarios please? I have all of the fem!MC tags blocked cause they trigger me as a trans man, but some people don’t use those tags and they end up in my feed. It just sucks when I find a really good piece but then find a female pronoun half way through reading. 

And this goes for all genders, but I’m specifically calling out female writers cause y’all are who I see this from most often. Or, at the very least, put up some kind of warning at the beginning about which pronouns are being used. It’ll save everyone a lot of trouble. 

It also sucks that some people just assume that everyone who plays Obey Me is female. MC as a character is specified to have NO gender at all. The writers wanted to make the game more inclusive, but some people still try and take that away from others. 

I know this probably won’t reach many people, but for those who do see this, please just tag your damn fics properly if you don’t already.

Hope I don't come across as a dick or anything, but do you edit some of the screencaps? I swear sometimes a character is talking in your quotes but they didn't in the show. Genuinely curious.

I do edit some of the screenshots, sometimes I need a character to speak so I'll edit their mouth, there's one in the queue where I needed glimmer to be angry so I rotated her eyebrows. I don't exactly want to do it, and I try hard to find moments where I don't have to, but sometimes it's the perfect scene and I have to edit it a tiny bit. The best example I can think of is the "door marked pirate" one, Glimmer doesn't react vocally to what Adora says, but her expression is perfect, so I opened her mouth. I hope no-one minds.

I've noticed something,

something… peculiar, but very cute! Sometimes, I see the toads roaming around like normal but, they’re tapping their longest toes. Like, their toes are twitching while they walk, hahaha.
