Jake is highkey judging you right now. It isn’t very pirate-y to make bad assumptions about lots and lots of people- well, animals- like that!

Actually, it doesn’t have anything to do with piracy at all, but let’s not tell him that.

“Oh, don’t worry- my sword isn’t for hurting people. Actually, it can’t- it’s really special. Peter Pan made it for me out of the wood of the Forever Tree!”

Eager to show off his aforementioned sword, he pulled it out of his vest and held it out proudly. 

“It’s really strong, and it can cut anything- I mean like vines, wood, rocks... But not people. It’s magic! Pretty cool, right?”

“...I’d really try to stay away from Mermaid Lagoon if I were you, Mr. Squidward. Sure, it’s a really nice place, and all the mermaids are really pretty, but they’re...  not very nice. They always try to drag us under when we’re there for treasure hunts- Marina and Stormy usually put a stop to it, but we’ve had a lot of close calls...” 

He paused for a moment.  “...Actually, that wouldn’t really make sense, since you breathe water, huh... But I have seen them chase fish and seahorses and stuff, so maybe just in case, don’t go anyway?”
