It had been a while since her brother and her got thrown into the crash course camp for leadership skills, and it was time to prove once again just how much she’d learned. Being next in line for the clawed throne, it wasn’t unusual her parents sent her on little missions like these.
Even so, this time it felt different. First of all was she all the way out in the bayou, in some seemly forgotten hole of the North-American pack’s territory it would be easy to overlook, and secondly, Logan had been taunting her with just how feral these wolves could be. Not that she couldn’t hold her own, but being a female wolf always came with its own set of problems.
Still sitting in her car, she glanced over as soon as she picked up on the scent (albeit appealing, but she wasn’t going to say that) of another wolf. “I know you’re there. I could smell you from miles away.”
