Kids (Ain’t All Right)

They were found on the street. Common for mutants nowadays, but it always remains concerning. You don’t just turn down a place to stay and a proper education, even if their English was already just fine. That’s what you get living in a multilingual household most of your life.
They step from the already-paid Uber, awkwardly thanking the guy and grabbing what little they own. Just a bag full of clothes and a base guitar in its case. Carefully, quietly, they step towards the building. This place is huge, and it’s mildly intimidating in that right. But fuck that, amirite?
They groan, finally stepping inside. Supposedly they’re supposed to go somewhere and meet another new student. A roommate, they assume. Awkward. They.. Really don’t want a roommate, but they’ll deal...
Knock knock.
“Yo, uh.... This the Professor’s office..?”
