Walking towards Patrick, Laura opened her arms to greet him with a hug. This was the first time they had a chance to actually catch up after the game - not just a few kisses here and there and not just whispering a few sweet nothings into each other's ear while everyone around them was celebrating. Rightfully so. It sure had been one hell of a game. For a while it had looked like this would be the first game the Chiefs would lose since Laura was coming to the games. Then it had been a tie and during one of the last moves of the game, they made another Touchdown and won. “Hey baby. Congratulations” she hummed as she finally embraced him, pulling him close by wrapping her arms around his neck. “That was an amazing game, I’m so proud of you.” @mahomes-hw
