Oh he’s still young to understand but I’m sure he loved them. He got plenty of clothes, some toys, definitely got way too spoiled by everyone. Of course you did, I’m pretty sure everyone in the world saw that. She’s not allowed to have her phone around me anymore though. Not a lot, just been having some free time and spending it with my son as much as possible. I’m still working on my re-recordings, been hanging out with some friends as well. But I’m doing really good lately, even my love life is going well.

Well, since he doesn’t understand it all completely yet, I’d say you’re all good. All the spoiling allowed. Maybe you’ll just have to tune it down later on. Haha, I’m sorry. Sel: Trust me, I know it. Distance was too hard for Reece and I, and that's why we broke up. It was hard to for me to be honest about it because I knew it would lead to our break up... but I did. And then I missed him too fucking much, and now we're back together 😂 I'm a mess lmao

I’m just trying to shake that off and focus on the people I really care about. And yeah, the people close to us have been nothing but supportive so far and I doubt that will change anytime soon. Well, we’re hoping he’ll be able to stay with me whenever I have to film and he’s not in the middle of football season, yeah! That’s good to know. And I’m not just saying it to say it. Definitely, they were pretty amazing. For sure, he seemed to be pretty happy for a baby so I think that’s a good sign. He was definitely surrounded by so much love and warmth. Nah, we flew out to my family on Christmas Eve and back to Kansas the same night, so we could spend Christmas Day with his family. But I’ll definitely just invite everyone next year, it’s so much easier haha. Aw, that’s so sweet! Did you guys just watch some cheesy Christmas movies and all? Or did you actually leave the sofa to do something outside lol. It’s been really good! They won all their games lately and made it to the playoffs just last Sunday. And that was such a great game too. You should take your girl and come visit us during the playoffs!

Dak: Nice, splitting time with both families is important. It was good, lowkey which is the way I like it. Oh the gift, don't get me started on that... it was something else, that's for sure.

Laura: that's true. like there are multiple reasons why it's important not to let your nerves show. haha, yeah, i'm sure he was. i think i'd have to be worried if he stops being nervous completely.

Laura: absolutely. since i still have my house in LA it's easy to just stay there for a bit. even though i can tell the city is not Patrick's favorite lol.

I would take a slap from you any day, sweetheart. That’s a big conversation to have so early on in a relationship… but at the same time, it’s important that you’re on the same page. Especially if you both are falling for each other really quickly. That way neither one of you will end up hurt in the long run. What gift did he give you? Lucky for you and Patrick, he has time coming up where he’ll be off, so you two can relax and take it easy. Yeah, you’re one of the lucky ones, Lo. You actually have an intact family. I guess, maybe. I don’t think I necessarily had one foot out the door, but I don’t think I gave you the full amount of attention you deserved. We both made mistakes, but it’s not as if it ended badly, which I consider a success. Oh, fuck no. I’m not ready to be a dad at all! I just meant that it’s time for me to stop partying every day I can and to stop hooking up with random girls all the time. It’s time I become more accountable to one person. And for the record, I will always be the cool uncle. Even if I have a kid of my own, I will still be the coolest uncle there is.

Don’t make it weird now, lol. Of course it is and we know that. But as long as we’re both comfortable with where we’re at in our relationship, I don’t care about the rest. People can judge all they want, I know where I stand with him. And like you said...at the end of the day we’re just making sure we want the same things and won’t end up hurting each other. Especially since we’re falling for each other this fast. Well, he got me a promise ring. Absolutely! Once the season is over things will ease up which is great. We’ll just have to see how it’ll work out with my schedule as well. I know I’m one of the lucky ones and I’m thankful for it every day. Hm...yeah...that’s a good way to look at it. And just for the record, I’m not regretting being with you. Just judging from how you were back then I was surprised to hear you want to settle down. But I get it. Sel: Hahah well I guess I beat you to it ;) It can be a lot, but it was worth it. It was helpful to have extra hands to help with cooking the meals. His family was great, so so sweet. It's great to get along with your partner's family!

Laura: yeah. 100 percent. it can totally make or break a relationship at the end of the day. it's not always easy, because honesty can hurt, but yeah.

Laura: Well depends on my schedule, but three, four times a year?

Laura: you sure did :P i can't imagine being stuck with a family you don't like at all. it must be so exhausting. you'd need vacation after the holidays lol.

Well sorry for using the correct pronouns to refer to Patrick. Don’t worry, Lo, from now on I’ll always refer to Patrick as Patrick. Whenever Patrick’s name comes up, I’ll be sure to use the proper name instead of just a pronoun. Ahh, well good for you two. It’s great that both you and Patrick are on the same page. So, you have a long term plan with Patrick, then? Yeah, you’re quite the family woman. I know your family would miss you, too, if you weren’t able to see them over the holidays. We weren’t ready to commit completely, but it’s not like I went out and fucked another girl while I was with you. I was faithful. It just didn’t work out timing wise. No reason to take offense. I think it just has to do with where I’m at now. I’m getting too old to be out partying all the time. My youngest brother has a kid and is more domesticated than I am. I’m just lucky I have such a great family and they always gave me all the love and support I needed, not anyone has that. So of course I’m a family woman. I didn’t say you cheated on me, Stef.
