Alexander rose a brow at his friend’s obvious dramatic and loud words about his truthfully lame attempt of a joke, puzzled for the slightest of moments before frowning, taking a deep breath afterwards “Are you drunk? How much have you been drinking? You are twenty years old Reese” the bartender warned, reaching over to take the youngest’s glass and giving it a sniff before narrowing his blue hues at the other “I’m so gonna get fired if anyone sees you like this. Where’s Pippa and why isn’t she taking care of you?” the eldest asked, rolling his eyes at the slur of an answer the other provided about not being a little kid or something along those lines, a tiny smile forming in his lips giving away his amusement “Yeah, yeah. I’m gonna make some coffee, you wait right there or else I’ll find you and drag your ass home. Don’t try to sweet-talk me into thinking you are less than plastered. I wasn’t even done with the joke you dummy.” 

“Are you crying?” - Nova

“Hmm?” the agent looked up from the photograph resting on his lap to the blonde in front of him who was looking back at him with worry. The male wiped away the few tears left in his cheeks and sighed deeply, taking a deep breath. “It’s just been a harsh week” he announced with a shrug before cleaning his throat. It seemed since Claire’s incident, when he finally had let himself cry for the first time since they had taken Jack away from him and his mother, Alexander simply couldn’t stop. It was one wave of emotions after the other and although it was getting to a dangerous zone, it was also making him feel less stressed out and tired. Looking at the blonde with kind eyes, he granted her a reassuring smile before rubbing her arm “It’s nothing, I promise. I’ll be fine. You know what would make it go away though? Ice cream. Are you in?”
