“Leon is an interesting person. I still have a hard time believing how unfazed he seems by all of this. 

He says it is because he’s seen it before, but I can’t imagine. Wouldn’t it make this more daunting? I have to admire his strength to do what is right  and what is needed. I almost feel ashamed for not taking action sooner when I see how hard he throws himself into his mission. 

But I do worry sometimes...

I am learning more about my new friend as we go, but I wish I could get a better read on him. What if he needs my help and I miss the signal? 

I must try harder so he can go back home and forget about all of this!”

“I have a good view of the reservoir from my home. I like to look out my window and see him in the distance sometimes as I read and write both kinds of notes. 

It is not much, but I do feel closer like that- even though he’s so far away. 

It is always so damp when I deliver there, I wonder if he is cold? I am always cold. Inside and out, especially without him. 

I will never forgive myself for what happened. [illegible] 

I do not think he remembers me, but by god I will not let the mold take him or anyone else if I can help it. 

My Salvatore has suffered enough.”

His name and mannerisms aren’t as terrifying to me anymore... Actually his name was NEVER scary to me, but this is not what I want to say. 

His thoughts are much like a silly little boy’s sometimes, despite his wizardry with machines. He would not like that I said this, Alcina says it enough anyways. 

I wish I could help him remember who he was before all of this, but everything here is so very poisoned. I do not think there is hope for any of us, but maybe I can be of some distraction. At the very least.”

“Jack visited me again today. He is much kinder than that scowl of his would suggest. I think he maybe as lonely as I feel sometimes. I hope I can bring my friend some happiness during his visits. 

Perhaps I will try and find a treat to give him. For eating his food. Again. 

He seemed very upset the last time. I want to stop, but I don’t want to be hungry and hurt someone again.”
