Ky’lar was only late due to a run-in with his Father who once again was trying to smooth things over --- something that was going over slowly, but was actually working this time around. It was why he ended up not returning until several days later; apparently a little chaos through Mexico went a long way it seemed.
Either way, when Ky’lar finally returned, he gave his usual glares to everyone, and made his way up his room. It was a simple action; he had done it several times before and he hoped he could tell Nightcrawler about everything. Yet, the only problem was that something was different ---- Kurt wasn’t anywhere to be found, but telling him could wait until he changed to a fresh pair of clothes... preferably something that didn’t smell of blood or bodily fluids.
However, he didn’t notice the letter until he went to actually lay on his bed --- it was only then that he found it, and decided.... not even even open it until he managed to get comfortable. That and the fact he was possibly going to have dinner with his Grandfather in a few hours; waffles were something he enjoyed now. Thanks Meph.
After a few minutes, he then actually opened the letter; he thought it would be one from one of the place he had contacted about one of his personal projects, but instead, his eyes went towards the first words, and he knew that something had happened.
"Freak accident?” He mumbled out, “Magneto.” It was a simple assumption, but one he thought was actually truth for the time being; he wouldn’t put it past the older man to pull something like this, but still... it was concerning. He should have been back sooner.
As he then read over the rest of the letter, his eyes narrowed into slits; they should have contacted him, it would have been easier to let him know Kurt had been hurt, but it seemed that he had been too late. If he would have simply contacted Kurt, it would have been different, but it seemed that Ky’lar forgot. Typical.
However, as the writing changed, a hiss escaped his lips; he was going back --- going back to where he truly belonged. Why? He had nothing else here and Kurt was... more than a pet, but still... Ky’lar has his own mission for now. He was going to get the other’s soul; it might not have been easy, but for now, it was one way to keep his friend around if only he could claim it.
Ky’lar than ignored the final words as he slipped the letter into one of his pockets and rubbed at his eyes for a few moments. It was going to be a long night, but he was going to stay the rest of the day... just for Kurt. He would start his real mission after everyone had went to sleep; Get Kurt’s soul.
Though, he wasn’t too sure what would happen after he obtained it ---- possible torture for the rest of eternity was for sure, but... that could be brought up at another time. If Kurt was alive, he wouldn’t have thought about doing this, but it seemed he never could escape what he truly was..
Kurt wanted him to retain his Human half, but it seemed that Ky’lar never wanted to. If anything, he would have gotten rid of it sooner, but now? It seemed he would get rid of it... Kurt was not there anymore and he didn’t have to listen to him about morality; it would be a change, but one that Ky’lar would be able to handle. Even if it would potentially destroy him.
