Michonne does like chocolate! Her favorite kind is any and all with strawberry cream filling.

Michonne finds it hard to say I love you. She's lost too many loved ones and has reached a point where survivor guilt has made her wonder if it's her fault, if by living people she's dooming them to end up like those she loved before did. So she keeps people at a comfortable distance for as long as she can, but she's been trying and getting better and making sure people know she loves them. Because losing someone without telling them is worse than telling them and losing them after.

J   :   JEALOUSY.   does your muse get jealous in a relationship?

Michonne struggles with relationships, especially romantic ones, and she's insecure about it enough that she will get jealous if she sees someone flirting with her partner. If it happens, she will remove herself from the situation and, if she can do so fast enough as to get away with it without causing an scene, take her partner with her.

Michonne is a very giving person when it comes to sexual matters. She likes going down on her partners, and keeping them on their toes by being unpredictable about when and where she decides it's time for a quickie.

R   :   ROMANCE.   is your muse a romantic or a cynic?

Somewhere in between but tilting slightly more towards cynic the earlier in the apocalypse we're talking about. She believes in love but also believes due to past experience that those she loves can do things with little care about her feelings or how their actions could and will affect her, even as far as what she considers to be betrayal (like what she considers Mike to have done when he knowingly left their child unsupervised, and later Andrea when she chose to believe in the Governor over Michonne).

[ 👓 ] does your muse tend to judge others, or are they more open-minded?

Michonne will judge people but, usually, doesn't do it about small stuff. She'll judge them for their decisions involving survival if she believes them to be reckless or stupid, but it will be quiet judgement unless it's somebody who's safety she cares about.

[ ⏰ ] does your muse tend to cling to the past, dream about the future, or look to the present?

Most of her past is painful now that she's lost her loved ones, so Michonne tends to focus mostly on the present, but she also dreams of the future when it comes to hoping for better things for her children. But she's more focused on making a better future for them a reality than on dreaming about it.

[ 🔒 ] what are your muse’s most negative traits? how do these traits influence their lives? (ex. if a muse is aggressive, they may have trouble forming lasting friendships.)

Michonne's biggest negative trait is that she can be very emotionally distant, especially with other adults. It has influenced her life considerably, and is the main reason why her first marriage didn't work out; she's trying to get better but there's still a lot she has to work on, it hasn't gotten easier after so much loss.

Michonne

[ 🫀 ] does your muse make decisions with their head or their heart? perhaps a bit of both?

Michonne is 95% making decisions with her head and 5% making decisions with her heart. She has to care about someone a lot to take the kind of reckless decisions that tend to be made with the heart.

[ 💀 ] does your muse tend to blame themselves or others?

Michonne blames herself a lot when something happens even if she isn't really responsible for it, but she also will blame others if they were directly involved with whatever it is that happened. Like, for example, Carl's death, she blames herself for not being there for him, but also blames Negan for being the reason she wasn't able to be there for him.

[ 👻 ] what decisions have your muse made that they regret?

Leaving Andre with Mike and Terry. She regrets that more than anything in the world, because she knows that if she'd been there, or if she'd taken him with her, her baby would still be alive.

Lucille

[ 🫀 ] does your muse make decisions with their head or their heart? perhaps a bit of both?

Lucille tends to make decisions with her heart, but after everything that's happened she tries her best to make decisions with her brain more because many of the choices she made before the turn haven't ended too well for her.

Lucille with take responsibility for what she is to blame for, but she won't beat herself about it, and she definitely won't blame others for stuff that is her own fault; but she also won't allow anyone to blame her for things that aren't her fault.

Keeping quiet about knowing of Negan's affair. She wishes she'd confronted him about it, but a part of her was hoping that he would tell her by himself, she definitely didn't expect for it to take as long as it took him to.

Of all your memories, which stands out most clearly?

The day she went to Dominic's apartment in Atlanta trying to find him and their daughters, only to find that they were gone and there were only bloody rags and a neighbor's once reanimated and now dead dead body left behind, along with a message telling her they tried, but they couldn't wait for her anymore, and that Dominic hoped she survived.

Do you enjoy making plans, or do you prefer spontaneity?

Michonne is a very structured person. She likes having plans, spontaneity makes her nervous but she can endure it. If she has a say in the matter though, she will make plans, even if she doesn't share them with others, sometimes they're just plans for herself, how long she's going to be at a certain place, who she will talk to and about what, or what subjects to avoid.

When it comes to your thoughts and feelings, are you an open book or a locked vault?

Locked vault for both. Michonne doesn't open up to people easily, there's some things she can be open about, but others will take years for her to as much as mention, like when she told Carl she had children 2-3 years into the apocalypse after having known him for a while.

▼ What is their greatest fear?

Michonne's greatest fear is to fail her loved ones like she did the first time. She can't bear the thought of losing those who mean a lot to her again, it is the reason why for a long time she tried to keep people at minimum an arm's length distance. But she's human and humans need love and so now she has an even bigger group of people she cares about and who she could and has lost, and that terrifies her.

△ Name one thing from their past that they regret.

She regrets the way things ended with Dominic. Michonne wishes things could have been different while they were married, that she could have gotten her shit together and loved him the way he needed to be loved instead of the way she knew how to love. But it took the end of the world and losing everyone she knew for her to understand that.

☹ Name one person they would kill for.

Daryl. He's been there for her in many awful situations, and he's taken care of her children like they're his own. Michonne owes him more than she can ever repay, the least she thinks she can do is make sure nobody gets the upper hand on him if she can stop it, and if that means killing someone, then so be it.

♣ Do they believe the world is made up of good and evil?

She believes anger makes people stupid and stupid people get others killed, and unfortunately, there's a lot of stupid people out there. But Michonne's being around good people enough to know that the world isn't all bad and that things can get better, even if sometimes you gotta smack or yell a little sense into some people to make them realize they're being stupid.

☣ Would they kill someone close to them if they had to?

Michonne has a really hard time letting go of people, even after they are dead. She wouldn't be able to kill someone she's close to, maybe not even if they were bitten, but she would be there with them until the very end, and even after.

♱ What do they think awaits them after death?

Michonne doesn't particularly believe in anything, but she finds some comfort in the thought that perhaps some day she will be able to see those she's lost again. Her children, her parents and siblings, even Dominic. She feels there's so much she left unsaid and perhaps if there is an afterlife, she will be able to tell them.

☹ Name one person they would kill for.

Besides the obvious answer: her family, Michonne would kill for anyone from Alexandria. She promised to protect them after Rick was presumed dead, and she intends to keep that promise no matter what it takes to do so.

ϟ Have they ever gotten pleasure from causing others pain?

The governor. The satisfaction she got from killing him is unparalleled. It was the first and only time she truly enjoyed watching someone die, because she believes he deserved it more than any other person. She wishes she could have dragged it on, made him suffer like he did those she cares about.

Before the turn, Michonne was a workaholic and due to that she missed out on a lot of Elodie and Colette's activities such as school plays and science fairs. She had this agreement with Dominic where he'd record the event and send the recording to her, but it wasn't the same as actually being there, and Michonne knew that, so she tried to make up for it by being there once the event was over to take the girls wherever they wanted to go. All the kids in their classes were jealous that after every school event they got to go to get ice cream or to the arcade and such, the girls would have rather had their mom be there for the event. Elodie told Michonne so once.

Michonne has schizoaffective disorder. She never got diagnosed because you know, rich parents can afford anything but to have a "defective" kid. To her family, it was a "mild" disorder, but truth was that Michonne had been directly or indirectly shaming into acting "normal" for her parents, to the point her behavior could be shrugged off as her just being an introvert because after a while she stopped talking to her parents about what she was going through and was trying to just pretend it wasn't happening, this also caused her to become even more distant with her family. Her mental health got worse with the zombie apocalypse and the death of her children and everyone she knew, spending months with two mutilated walkers that used to be her boyfriend and friend also didn't help.
