⏳ Evren
For every “⏳” I receive, my muse will openly talk about a bit of their backstory.
“You wanna know about my past?” The plant man sighed deeply as he took a moment to think. “There is quite a bit of my past to go through… So I guess there is no better place to start than the beginning.”
“Like most Multis, I was made for the purpose to serve under a god, specifically the god of death, Casket. During these early years, I won’t lie, life was fairly nice. It was simple, my task was simple. Help deliver those who are to die move through and reach the afterlife. This is where I developed my ability to look into the souls of others, though I prefer not to use it now a days as it is fairly invasive to just look into someones deepest secrets and desires… but I digress. At this young age my father had taught me the importance of ones soul, each and every one is precious, despite there being billions of them. Oh how I wish I had kept that idea…” He paused for a moment, pain on his face.
“But unfortunately I would experience first hand the idea that all good things must come to an end. As time passed my father slowly became stranger, he was always stern for sure, but slowly his demeanor changed. He became more sinister, more… unforgiving. Slowly as time past, most of the others had changed to act similarly, they would be cruel to the souls that they had to transfer, laughing at their pain and suffering… And for awhile I thought it was fine…”
“It wasn’t until another stepped up, Evren 9. He had finally had enough, and in an act of rebellion ran off and joined with two other multis, Daf and Dom…. Eventually 9 had changed his name to Chain as a means to renounce his creator”
“More time passed and I had slowly began to become fed up with the actions of my peers and my father. So I had thought, perhaps I should follow suit with 9. What a fool I was to think Casket would let something like that happen again. I don’t want to go through the events that followed, but it is the reason that my eye is scarred. The one wound that my powers could never heal….” Evren seems to be done talking… for now.
