<<Mo and Hai being good older cousins and trying to teach Meixiu to walk>> @emeraldgale
“Up…you go!” Mo grunted. Mo was kneeling before Meixiu and Hai, trying to help the girl stand up. Hai held onto her hands.
“G…o!” The little tot followed suit, eager. She kicked out her feet, smacking Mo in the mouth. “Go! Go! Go!” she chanted, swaying side to side.
“Big bro, I think she’s ready to go.”
“Okay.” The older boy rolled off his knees, sitting to the side and they both watched as Meixiu moved her feet forward, one shaky leg at a time.
She stopped for a second and beamed at Hai and he grinned. “Look, auntie! She’s walking!”
Mei and Fang looked up, both smiling at them. “Well, would you look at that.”
But no sooner after that was said, Meixiu placed her foot back and Hai whined. “She’s stepping on me!”
Mo reached forward towards the cooing baby and shifted her feet. “Off Meixiu, off,” he said softly. But after that, she decided that she couldn’t move her feet and she fell right down on her rear, causing Hai to fall back as well.
“Hey!” He rubbed his head, sitting up. “Meixiu!”
The baby girl grinned him, laughing and clapping her hands.
