Inupi clears his throat to catch Koko's attention. Then, in the most deadpan tone possible and with an expression to match, he begins singing happy birthday.

Koko had been caught up in shuffling through the papers on his work desk at home, needing a break from the Bonten headquarters when Ran and Sanzu kept going at it. This usually resulted in him occasionally bringing the paperwork home, which didn't help with the stress except for when Inui managed to get him out of it to take a break.

When he looks up, he figures it wasn't super important but Inui always got his attention anytime Koko could put it on him. Except, this was the first time he wished he hadn't. The expression matching the bored, almost lifeless tone, the entire song sent a chill down Koko's spine. Not in a good way. In fact, Koko wouldn't say it but he couldn't wait for the song to be over this time.

Getting up, he walked over to him and pressed a gentle kiss to the other's lips before speaking. "Thank you, and thank you for remembering."

Shinichiro looks up from the bike that he was working on, a last minute walk-in that ended up being just as urgent as quickly as it had come in. He wipes some sweat off of his forehead with the back of his hand before glancing over at the younger blonde, giving a small smile that's followed by a chuckle. "You're not trying to start a competition or anything, are you?" He asks, tilting his head though his tone tells on him that it's a simple tease.

He wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed but he knew how Inui and Mikey both were to know that usually, one became jealous of the other the moment one got any form of attention that the other hadn't received- Especially if from someone they looked up to like himself. But there was something about watching the two have their little rivalry that was still amusing in its own way. No, as the older figure he shouldn't be condoning it but who was he to say no when they came to him requesting attention? What kind of role model would he be then?

"I suppose I can give you some~" He teases, the hand that wasn't covered in dirt and grime and oil moving over to the top of Inui's head before patting it a few times and then lightly ruffling his hair.

There are many things that Takemichi can deny. The sky being purple, That someone can survive without oxygen, That breaking a broken bone will make it heal. These are things that no one questions, yet he can easily deny them because he knows them to be false, and true in the fact of being wrong.

One thing he can not deny is that he wants to be there for everyone, and be a person that everyone can count on. So when Seishu comes up to him requesting some headpats, who is he to deny it? He's aware in the fact that Seishu and Mikey are alike just as they are different. Both do what they can to avoid from showing their true emotions- The ones that eat at them from the inside, the ones that get far too loud when they're on their own and attempting to handle it without relying on any of their friends.

Those emotions stay hidden, and he knows they will as long as either of the two have a say in it.

But if Seishu has decided to come to him and request something as simple as a headpat, then Takemichi can give at least that. And with that decision, one of his hands move on top of the other's head, hand gently patting his head like an owner would to their dog after they did something good.

Besides, the puppy dog eyes were unfair. How could he say no?!

Wakasa is blinking at the younger male before him, somewhat confused by the context of this question and yet not. "You're on teams now?" It's a joke, proven by the playful smirk pulling at the corner of Wakasa's mouth as a hand reaches over to ruffle the male's hair. "Explain to me exactly why teams are coming into it? Is it because you two can't get along?"
