Law actually avoids perfumes and colognes. He thinks in a more logic way; this is a scent that could be recognized or trailed enough that it could get him into trouble. The most times he wears it is in faux formal situations, where smartening up is required. Afterwards he immediately washes it off, to knock off possible scent trails. As for Law’s basic scent, it varies. When on the Polar Tang, he smells like disinfectant, iron, and a touch of sweat. This is because he hangs around the med bay, and he pulls his own weight on his submarine. Though his submarine is modified from the usual model, it still possesses the element of having a crew of 20 people on it, enclosed, for varying periods of time.
When he was residing on the Thousand Sunny, Law mainly smelled of the sea, polish, and a touch of sweat once again. Since Law usually remained on the Sunny’s deck, he’d often be peppered by the sea air, causing the smell of the sea to stick more prominently on him. As for polish, it’d be a mix of sword polish and wood polish.
