There is no need to announce herself; there is no desire. If guests look over her, past her, all the better. Dark lights and glittering women should be enough of a distraction for these patrons; there is no need for the spotlight to be on her. Not when there is a lovely woman before her, pristine-- except for one small flaw. No, flaw is a poor word for her; there was merely something cosmetic to correct. A brush of a bare palm ensnares the troublesome pin that had dared to try to wiggle free from dark hair and a fluid motion of the wrist-- and it is fixed. There is no need for her to rest her hand on the other woman’s shoulder; there is a desire too.
“You look lovely tonight, Miss Vought.”
