Good Morning
The smell of fresh brewed coffee filled the kitchen window as sunlight streamed in through, glinting warmly off the cyberman’s metallic helm. He opened the white cabinet and pulled out a thick mug as the toast popped in its toaster. Setting the cup down, Daniel reached back into the cupboard and pulled out a small plate for the toast. He reached over and retrieved the toast before filling the mug with a fresh brew of coffee.
With the tiny meal ready, Daniel made his way up the stairs to the room where he’d set his friend. The guy had sustained a good deal of damage when the cyberman had found him unconscious in the alley. Fortunately none of it was permanent and most of it was easy to treat, but he still couldn’t reckon what had happened to cause it.
‘Hopefully he can tell me something before he wigs out,’ the cyborg thought and paused to knock on the bedroom door.
