Thinking of taking a break from æS... I have been feeling insecure about it lately, more so on its pacing. I need a beta reader badly, but I can’t find one to commit. Even when I tell them to not spare my feelings, the commonality is that they become prematurely exhausted by it’s depth—they read the first sentence and quit. While this is me whining, I am also open to any betas who are interested. I love this one to death, it’s my baby, and I’m one of those spoiling moms who thinks it’s perfect in every way. But it’s not making friends :(

Lots of other ideas simmering in the brain, so will switch my focus on those.

I got this china set when the woman who owned it had to go into a nursing home. Only a few pieces are shown. They are the 1950s Laurentian Snowdrop line from Royal Albert. Each piece is hand-painted and yes, that is real gold. They were used so much by their previous owner that the paint on the inside of most of the teacups is almost completely gone.
