Growing up in the shadow of debtors, Tae’s feelings towards the wealthy are somewhat complicated. For the most part, she doesn’t resent them, per se (Kyuubei, for example, is a member of a very powerful family and has access to a good deal more resources than Tae, but Tae would never take advantage of that because of the nature of their relationship). Tae most commonly will attempt to sever the wealthy from their money – at least where wealthy straight men are concerned. Dates with men are an opportunity to make them pay for things, and she’s definitely not above emptying men’s wallets in the course of her job, and in fact finds it quite fun. She can be wonderfully sadistic, after all.
Of course, the more she respects you, the less likely she’ll try to acquire your cash. At the same time, though, if men are dumb enough to throw money at a pretty woman, she won’t feel any sympathy for the (now) poor bastards. If she herself happens to acquire wealth in the process, she’ll feel like she earned it.
