        a soft smile was presented to her visitor. HOW could she forget a face like his? barnes was one of the soldiers she felt true blame over. a soldier that she had thought of MANY times during her life. coming up with different scenarios on how she could’ve prevented his so called earth. BUT none of that seemed to matter now. because that one soldier; the soldier that had HAUNTED her for so long, was now just in arms reach.

        for a second. peggy believed the woman that ENTERED her room to be the long lost janet van dyne. but there was no way in HISTORY that could be her. her mind was just playing games with her. making her believe that a woman she had once been CLOSE friends with had returned. her hands were soon placed on the mattress of the bed. pushing her fragile body up and into a SITTING position. there was something about the female in the room      something familiar. but she couldn’t put her finger on it.

        she wasn’t meant to be TOUCHING the items inside the lab. but she was. she was CURIOUS to what everything done. so yes - agent carter was slowly poking and prodding at the objects upon a desk in the lab. and continued UNTIL she heard the sound of someone entering the lab. she quickly stood up, brushing down her skirt and stepping back quickly, turning to look at WHOEVER just entered the lab.
