Some thoughts on TWD 5.16, Conquer

Some friends and I have been discussing our thoughts on the finale - *Possible we may see Daryl, Aaron and Morgan with The Wolves in ‘Conquer’ next Sunday night. Daryl and Aaron will be captured by The Wolves I think, based on filming spoilers. Morgan will be with The Wolves, but only as a survival strategy as he tries to find Rick and his group. He could have been captured at Shirewilt or anywhere north of there since Aidan told Glenn’s group run teams had gotten as far as 53 miles ” out” from the ASZ. Morgan could also have “joined” The Wolves as Daryl joined The Claimers in 4-B instead of remaining alone, trying to survive at the end of Alone. *Carol’s confronting Pete is more about Carol’s need to work through the ghosts from her past with Ed. It’s more her story than Pete’s IMO-confronting a strong male abuser like Pete and /not/ being afraid of him as she was afraid of Ed. A smart friend suggested Carol would be doing for Sam and Jessie what she pre-ZA was unable to do for Sophia and herself. Seeing Pete cower before her and knowing she could kill him but won’t would go a long way to healing those scars. *She’s not going to kill Pete IMO-Rick will and it will be a justifiable defensive killing, like Shanes’s death in s 2. The cliffhanger may be Rick and the ASZ seeing Daryl, Aaron & Morgan with The Wolves outside the gates looking in, with Rick/Morgan recognizing each other just before the screen goes to black. * the surprise cast guest on Talking Dead may be Alanna Masterson or more likely Lennie James.
